Doomhammer Cannons???

    just a question these doom hammer cannons which are given as a so called prize for bokors are good why you cant use them to any positive in order to see something good they need to be at least half your ships total and there's no way to purchase them so unless u win them for what 2 yrs straight there's no benefit so why promote them the way you do
    i received them out of the bokors and feel slighted cant use them cant throw them out dont really want them just want to know why have them ???? why give something to the players that aint worth nothing
    I know im going to receive a copy paste no response but i figure why not ask

    GP, I am with you that they are a joke. And the fact that you would need over half of them for them to really effect your hit rate is a even bigger joke. But After some testing i have figured out that for every 10 of the doomhammers you have on you will hit 300hp more than with voodoo. So if I hit a NPC at 44k with full voodoo, I switch 10 of the voodoo to the DoomHammer and I will then hit 44,300. Not a big difference but I guess after 2 years of getting them in bokors ( which is the most retarded way for bp to "allow" us to get them ) I would be hitting quite a bit harder than everyone else. Just thought I would share that with you even though I am in agreement with you.

    Cannons work on an average now. So although you may not see much of a benefit, especially now they have added the up to 5% more random damage, you will still be getting a slight benefit.

    I.e Myself, with 297 Voodoos and Level 3 Voodoo Priest:
    • Cannon Reload Time: 2.7 seconds.
    • Average Hit: 44,827
    • Average Critical Hit: 59,211
    • Total Average Hit (Based on Crit Chance): 49,430
    • Damage After 1 Min: 1,098,445


    Now 287 Voodoos and 10 Doomhammers:
    • Cannon Reload Time: 2.74 seconds.
    • Average Hit: 45,132
    • Average Critical Hit: 59,516
    • Total Average Hit (Based on Crit Chance): 49,735
    • Damage After 1 Min: 1,088,928

    Difference:
    • Cannon Reload Time: +0.4 seconds.
    • Average Hit: +305
    • Average Critical Hit: +305
    • Total Average Hit (Based on Crit Chance): +305
    • Damage After 1 Min: -9,517

    This is based on my Damage Calculator, which is pretty accurate with every cannon setup I tested, generally out by ~50 (Still trying to locate the error :( )

    These values are also represented when tested on my boat with these cannon setups.
    As you can see, you hit slightly harder, making profit when shooting on NPCs a little better (not by much granted, but better), however it will take you slightly longer to do the same damage as full voodoos. :)

    Oh, and incase you are curious, here is the output for 287 Voodoos and 10 Firestorms with the difference in the brackets:
    • Cannon Reload Time: 2.68 seconds. (-0.2 Seconds)
    • Average Hit: 44,827 (0)
    • Average Critical Hit: 59,211 (0)
    • Total Average Hit (Based on Crit Chance): 49,430 (0)
    • Damage After 1 Min: 1,106,726 (+8,281)
    I believe the Average Values are the same due to the average bonus damage of 10 Firestorms and 287 Voodoos (24.2424..) vs 297 Voodoos (25) is rounded up so both are 25 (in favour of the player). Although I am just assuming that, not having any I can't test my calculation ;)

    These cannons were introduced due to an upgrade needed. It had been a while since there was any new cannons. Many players have become full voodoo cannons, and whilst there are many still needing them, it was decided those players that had got all of the voodoo cannons needed a new update.
