Elite Ship Level

    I've been making it a bit of a priority but I don't know if there is any benefit to high elite ship level.
    In the Seafight bible it says certain gems increase effectiveness for higher lvl but I haven't seen this in the game. Is it just about Rank, ship designs and a few gems therein socketed? Some have told me there is a damage increase. Is there a thread that outlines the benefits, if any?

    There are some benefits but if you have certain event skins then they have better gems... Im working upto elite 27 because it looks nicer;))

    The higher the elite level the more bonuses you can get on your ship, i.e extra damage, harpoon damage, hp and capping bonus.

    I assume you have viewed the posts in the     Seafight Bible regarding the Elite Ships, this should show you clearly what each level will earn you.

    The way I interpret it is that there is no point in working towards a higher elite level if you already have the gems that the elite skin offers.
    Maybe I'm wrong but follow the link and there's nothing listed that isn't gem related, other than collecting another skin.

    Each player has their own thoughts on the matter. However we can only give the information we are issued with and that is it is indeed beneficial to gain the elite skins.
