    From the League FAQ:

    • The League Points will be added to the hero ranking (The hero ranking is an additional league feature, on which we are currently working. But it will take some time, until it will be released )

    The hero points feature at this time is not live in the game. They are currently of no use and you can ignore them. They may have a use in the future.

    Arky is right. These points are of no use in the game, presently. They are supposedly to be used for some purpose later on.
