Event Support Team doesn't work

I've just sunk 2 Gaia Defenders (the first of the second phase) yet on my Event info page it doesn't show me Supporting team Ouranos. In fact, all the info is wrong, for support team and reputation it shows %1 instead of actual info.

I've tried logging out/in and it remains a problem. Any ideas?

EDIT: I checked my log and see the info there is also strange

If I may, I found this out the hard way to, if you have shot the npc ships green or red and want to switch side you have to shoot the number to reset the counter and restart at zero on the side you wish to be part of. To be part of the green side you need to shoot red ships and for the green side you need to shoot red ships.

 

I shot green ships in phase 1 and continued to shoot green ships in phase 2. Never shot a red one.

 

Third times the charm. Sinking my 3rd green ship finally registered me with a team. I was reluctant to keep shooting them if it wasn't going to add me to a team and then allow me to do quests.

It would be nice to know what went wrong so I can avoid it in the next phase.

 

Ahoy mate,

If you had been supporting a different team before, then you you will have to offset them by shooting the other color and losing your reputation with the other team before switching. Does this make sense?

 

If you read my earlier post, I have only ever shot green ships, never red, so no this is not the answer.

 

With the new phase going live, are you able to support a team?

 

Yes, this time it worked. I can't think of anything I did different this time, but after the first ship sunk I was shown as supporting my team.
