I keep getting logged out of this new forum. If I take too long to read a page of posts and go on to the next page I'm no longer logged in. The old forum had the option to stay logged it, can you give us that option here? If not, can you at least extend the time it keeps you logged in to something more reasonable (a day or more). Thanks.

That seems like it should be the right thing to do, but it doesn't work. I go to that link and it has the login fields (UserID/PWD) and the 'keep me logged in' checkbox. I fill in my UserID and PWD that I use to get into SeaFight and check the box. When I click Login it gives me this error:

Maybe there is a missing permission in the forum setup that is preventing this method from working?

This may be because of the fact that some threads are only able to be used by mods?

Hmmm I don't know what that's happening but I will try and find out for you.

    Thanks for your patience.

Is there any news on this yet?

I have been informed that if you did not choose the option to stay logged in when you joined the forum that that feature is no longer available to you.

I was never presented with that option. I had set that option with the old forum and it worked with no problem. With this new forum, it never presented an option. It did give a chance to change the forum username on the first use of it, but not if I wanted to stay logged in.

Since the page does exist to do this (see your post above), why not just let us use it? They just need to adjust the permissions.
