Gem Crafting and Materials​

Gem Crafting Materials give you a better chance of crafting the Gem you want. They can only be used once. Make sure to place it on the Gem you want to upgrade. Each type of Crafting Material has a different chance of causing a level skip.
Crafting Material Percentages

Lapidary Scalpel: Increases your chance of upgrading by 15%
Monocular Loupe: Increases your chances of upgrading by 25%
Stardust: Increases your chances of upgrading by 45%
Fusing Crystal: Increases your chances of upgrading by 65%

How to Craft Gems

1. Click on the "Gem Cutter" in Safe Haven

2. Click on the "Gemcutter" function on the screen that appears​

3. Click on the Crafting Material menu. (If you have gem crafting materials. If not you can skip this step.) Click and drag the material to a desired box​

4. Place your gems inside of the circles​

5. Move your cursor to the circle in the center of the smithy, and click​

​

6. If you are satisfied with your results, click the "Accept" button. Your new gem will then be moved into your inventory
If not, you can always try to upgrade again. This is done by going back to the circle in the center, and clicking again, as detailed in step 5​

Always be sure you have enough of the required currency to upgrade your gems​

The new craft chance percentages will be:
​

Lapidary Scalpel - The gem you use it on will be increased to 40% craft chance and the rest will be reduced to 20%
Monocular Loupe - The gem you use it on will be increased to 50% craft chance and the rest will be reduced to 16%
Stardust - The gem you use it on will be increased to 70% craft chance and the rest will be reduced to 10%
Fusing Crystal - The gem you use it on will be increased to 90% craft chance and the rest will be reduced to 3%​
