I think my PvP ship might be wrong. Probably no single perfect setup, but I’d love if you guys could share your builds/strategies.

Also, any tips on how to take 0 damage from map 51+ NPCs?

    Ahoy LealG!

My apologies for the delay in response to you.

    When it comes to PvP:

    • Gems on ship: Hit prob, damage, damage prevention, dodge chance
    • Gems on pet: hit prob, dodge chance
    • Castles: Standard setup (there is no difference between PvP and PvE in my case)
    • Extension items: two options, Option 1: Ravens Only (for max dodge), Option 2: Ablative Platings (for max HP)
I will include some print screens later when on PC.

To provide you with a bit more details, you need to select what type of a player you are:

    • You rather have more HP but lower def.
    • You rather have higher def. but lower HP
Both options have its own advantages and disadvantages.

Below I'll show you what I am using on my PvP setup (I run HP, option 1).

This combined with Light of Tortuga provide me a lot of HP, and mixed with Hour Glass or Sands of Time makes me unsinkable especially on a map change :D

Regarding "0" damage on high end maps, you'll have to own a lot of % towards damage prevention, something like 128 - 134% should be enough for most of the NPCs found within higher maps. This can be achieved by various buffs, castles, skills etc. (everything in dodge and damage prevention) + a set of Ablative Plating's L6 (if you can place 22 or more of them at once, if no then stick to Ribs L6).

    If you have any fur
ther questions feel free to ask (-:

I actually have another question. Using 5 level 6 Ablative Plating + 21 level 6 Reinforced Ribs, I reach 125% damage prevention (without the ablative reach 124% and by my calculations, even if I used 21 Ablative Plating, it would still be 124%).
But players farming on map 55+ without taking damage reach 135%. Do you know where that extra 10% comes from?

    Ahoy LealG!

Sure thing! Below you'll find an entire list of my own damage prevention pre-set that score up to 136.15% in Damage Prevention.

As you can see the difference between us (an example) is as follows:

    - Trophy Bonuses (1% damage prevention for each one)
    - Trophy Overall Bonus (5% additional damage prevention for all trophy shelves unlocked and equipped)
    - Higher Gems
    - Full set of Ablative Platings L6

All of the above + Super Armor Plates provide me with 0 damage taken from most of the NPCs found in maps 48/3+

    Hope this helps!

    Happy Sailing!

    Ahoy -PUSAT-!

Everything depends on how the event is setup, there are three options that will always work (one of them):

    - Max. dmg. prev.
    - Max. dodge chance
    - Mix of dmg. prev and dodge chance
You'll have to check all three sets and figure out which one works best.

An advice: Always use your dmg. prev. setup and note damage received from an event NPC, when you did that simply activate Lion's Bulwark shields (50% dodge chance against NPCs) - if your damage received dropped drastically then you can either try full dodge setup or a mix.

The same apply to Critical Damage and Hit Probability, sometimes it is best to run one or the other, please don't forget that NPCs same like me and you - they wear "gems", so we can't tell what stats specifically they have.

If you wish to check your diff in damage simply use Critical Damage gem and activate Dragon Powder + Hailstorm. If your damage increased by several thousand then you know your ship need more hit probability (which would be worth to run on your ship at that time).

    Hope this helps.

LealG do you have any further questions?
