    Game Currency Overview

    Seafight uses many different types of "Currencies" within the game

    Each type of currency is used to purchase different items. Each item will be clearly labeled in the game as to what currency is required to make a purchase
    For a listing of the currencies on your Ship, go to the upper left hand corner of your Sea Chart
    Your Pearls and Gold can be seen in the top left

    For a drop-down menu showing all your currencies, click the little down arrow to the right of the Gold, as shown:

    Game Currencies

    Gold

    A common permanent currency throughout the game, can be used to purchase a variety of low level items among other uses.

    Pearls

    A common permanent currency throughout the game, can be used to purchase higher level items among other uses.

    Mojo

    A bubbling sample of pure Mojo, perfect for the most arcane of rituals, and now hygienically bottled for your convenience.

    Can be thrown into the Cauldron of Aruba for instant prizes!

    Crystals

    You can use this crystal to create skill points.

    Gingerbread

    Tasty cookies baked in sugar. What’s not to love? Even pirates are allowed a sweet tooth! Some people have managed to use these as currency, although there is always a danger of economic deflation when your money is just so irresistibly tasty…

    Vanhu Crate

    Vanhu Crates are bursting with mystical shaman energy. Sacrifice the energy in the Cauldron of Saba to win instant prizes and be part of a monthly draw with terrific treasures!

    Cursed Souls

    These unsettling, slow-moving shreds of soul are trapped in a mystical vessel that slows their evaporation. Dark magic ripped them from their hosts just at the point of death, and now they can be traded or used to power spells until they dissolve away.

    Radiant Souls

    These glowing, darting wisps of soul are contained in a mystical vessel that slows their evaporation. Magic coaxed them from their peacefully dying hosts, and now their purity can be traded or used to power spells until they evanescence into the ether.

    Plato's Coin

    These special coins are made of orichalcum, a precious magic-proof metal from Atlantis. These ones are emblazoned with the image of the great philosopher, Plato. They can be redeemed for certain services across the world.

    Solon's Coin

    Competitor's Coin

    These highly sought-after coins are emblazoned with the image of the sun, and are only given to those who triumph in the league battles. These coins are highly valued by the merchants in the League Hall, and special items are offered in exchange for them.

    Crowns

    The Crown is the official currency of the Commonwealth, and are emblazoned with the royal lion. Citizens of the Commonwealth can use them to pay for any item and service imaginable, and it is only inevitable that many coins end up in the hands of pirates.

    Spider Essences

    These tiny spiders have been preserved in mystical vessels that keep them in a suspended state. For what purpose were the spider orbs originally created? Nobody knows, but they are now traded between collectors of the esoteric.

    Bone Essences

    Bones have been associated with piracy since the dawn of the shipping age. As such, it is no surprise that particularly interesting or rare specimens have become collectables. Some merchants will happily accept these in lieu of coins.

    Kau Cim Sticks

    Yulong Coin

    Shards of Forever
