I have a few questions to ask about gold so yeah alright

1. say like u find another players boat on the game on the water n u capping him/her every hour n u kept getting 2b gold would that give the person that caps that boat many times a ban?

2. if u bid alot in the market and u cant seem to never outbid the person that bids on every item in the market every hour and he/her keeps winning how would u get them check for gold bugs? like report there boat? or find them on water n cap n see if u get a 2b cap?

3. how would even get ban for having a bunch of gold is there a current number? is there a limit? is it how much u use the gold in market? or bidding tons of gold? or what like how?

4. if someone posted the amount of gold in a global chat and it was like real because u seem that person win alot in market cove and they there post in global said they have had 339b gold would they just get a ban because its on there boat? or unless someone reports that person? or what

5.This is pretty much like number four but a bit different say like some1 just had tons of gold on there boat and no one never knew at all n they bid in the market not to often but still has tons of gold and more would that person just get ban randomly? or what?

 

I would love to know the answers to these questions as well as , is it true you are supposed to report every max cap. you make ?

Another one as well u shouldnt be able to get ban from the boat ur capping many times should u because thats from them right? because that would be pretty lame if u get a ban for capping a boat on the water and make like maybe 20b or less of a billion capping them for 2b everytime? And i would send to support about these questions but they take forever and may never answer my post to them.

Also have a list of names of people that have alot of gold would love to put a end to these gold buggers i find taking over stuff in the market. I got one that like my question number 5. has a bunch of gold but hides it hes never on water well sometimes but in scrolls hiding an bidding like every hour on ammo and seem to never outbid him and have other players that just takes all of the listing of items

Here are the answers to your questions as we know and are allowed to share:

1. Farming Gold off of accounts you know are cheating is the same as you cheating. They are just doing it for you as you are knowingly and willingly taking the gold en mass with the purpose of bettering yourself from the gold which was wrongfully obtained.
   
2. All of the player's bids and amounts are tracked. If you believe a player is cheating, you should report it and their accounts will be looked into, then the proper actions will be taken.
3. There is no current released limit to a player's amount of gold. The Guild maximum is 4.2 billion gold.
   
4. The player's account is looked into and then proper action is taken against them. Just because a player's account has a lot of gold, does not mean we can issue a ban. It takes time to search through and ban a boat.
5. Players are not randomly banned, but there are systems in place to try and catch players who try to "fly under the radar"
6. The answer to this one is the same as the first
7. If you have a list of player's names, please send them to support, they may not respond, but they will get them and search the player's accounts and take proper action against them.

As for reporting max caps, you should report them. If they are deemed cheating, then that is one more cheater off the water, everyone is happy (except the cheater).

 

But here is a another question in response , if you make a max cap do you lose the gold if they are deemed to be "cheating" as long as you do not continue to hit that same boat ?

 

Any gold received from a player who was cheating is not supposed to be in the game play economy. Therefore, it will most likely be removed as it was gained through illegal means.

 

So is it correct to assume that a "max cap" is 420 million gold? What about the pirates and elite equipment that was lost for the cap? If you remove the gold will you credit the equipment?

 

When we are talking about maximum caps, we are referring to caps made over 2 billion.

We will remove the 2 billion gold and leave the remaining millions as a reward. Then we do not issue back any equipment or pirates lost during this cap as you still receive a reward of kind.

 

So max cap is 2 billion ? do need to report that or any cap over that ?

 

Yes this would be advisable.

Any cap over 2 billion should be reported, along with the user id, or exact user name and server of the person capped.

As we do require the information of another player this would need to be done via our Customer Care Team and not posted on the forum.

 

So what is the max amount of Gold that someone is aloud to have ?

 

This is not a query we can give an answer to. If players were to know the max amount then many gold exploiters would know when to stop adding gold to their account and would always stay below this figure.

 

Makes sense, and that reward is fair. I'll anticipate Mysticals next question. Would it be legal for a guild to pay out say, 3 billion gold to a player? After all its guild gold. Or would be it be questionable, possibly bannable?

 

Yes the reward is fair. But haven't you already notified gold cheaters that if they don't want to be reported they should carry less than 20 billion? Why not monitor the auction for who keeps winning (every time, every day) and look into how they got their gold?
