help with this event

    i really dont understand this event.. let me get this right if people dont hand in the grogg no event npcs will spawn.. my server hasnt had any event npcs for a long time we have alot of bots who wont hand in the grogg does this mean the event is over for us and if so what the hell is the point in the event in the first place

    Ahoy,

    In my own personal opinion this is a mainly PvP Event, and has been designed that way, with NPCs not being the sole method to gain Grog.

    The Event NPCs are a way to get the Grog into the server, and then inflicting other damage on other players allows you to steal some of their Grog being one of the main methods to gather Grog.

    Also remember that the amount of Grog automatically decreases by 5% every two hours. This means that the amount of Grog in a server shall always be reducing, and the Event NPCs will spawn again to allow more to be gained.

    So with the ability to steal a players Grog and the amount of Grog decreasing over time, and of course players who are spending the Grog, more Event NPCs will spawn to allow the acquisition of more Grog in the server.
