It didn't use to be that way, or am I losing my mind? <--(or both options) :)

    Hello,

this is not a bug but a feature which can be used by everyone.

Thank you so much! I didn't know. Was it recently changed and noted in the Patchday Notes?

Well, as far as I can remember we always were able to rep up with border change button ready.

When unity have been released this option changed at some point and right now we can repair and change map at the same time.

Do you have any further questions?

One Added Note: I seem to be able to rep and shoot simultaneously at times. If you have more players report this, then the developers may want to take a look. For now, unless it happens again, you might just file this in the back of your mind. I may be wrong, but I don't think so. (I will open another thread if you close this one and I am able to confirm the "repair while attacking" problem exists). Thank you Rymar! :)

    Ahoy,

It is known that you can repair inbetween attack volleys, that has so far been deemed acceptable. When a player is being damaged, then they will be affected by the 3 second repair cooldown - so they can't repair while being damaged.

    Any further queries?

Gosh - I apologize to you but: (1) I don't understand your phrase "you can repair in between attack volleys"...? and (2) https://prnt.sc/1cy3gtd <--my ship has been on the water a good 60 seconds and the rep button- when I touch it with my mouse - says "I need a repair mate to repair" and I do have one - I checked and he is a Level 5 carpenter good for 210 days. So I was forced to enter the Vovoi Map so I could type this. I just now looked and my rep button is lit up....?

'players' who repair in between volleys (and the bots who can toggle between shoot /dont shoot on event npcs for hours) use the kb shortcuts. The onscreen ie clickable way, is frankly useless is it too slow to light up.

    Ahoy,

By "you can repair in between attack volleys" I mean, you can press Fire, and if you so choose, you can cancel your attack and repair immediately before then pressing fire again. There is no delay in this.

In contrast, when you are being damaged, you will have a 3 second delay until you can repair.

Regarding your issue in your screenshot, I have personally not experienced this or had any other reports of this issue. If you press your repair keyboard shortcut (whatever button you have it set as in your options) does it allow you to repair? This may simply be a visual glitch which is stopping you from pressing it with your mouse, so any further information to forward would be helpful.

Yes....that makes sense. Thank you so much mate!:)

Okay - I understand now. I will re-post if using the keyboard short-cut repair key - as minesleeper also suggested - doesn't solve my problem. Thank you and you can close this thread.:)
