I need some help

While I cannot come close to the 10 minute times some of the players manage in the Rift map, I consider myself to be fairly well versed in doing it. With some help of a few buffs, like the genie, or rift, or league, I am fairly consistent in posting times under 20 minutes...that is until recently, very recently...like in the last two days. Now...with the same settings on my ship, same pet trainers, super armor plates, same everything, I am getting hammered and sunk out. I have tried increasing my damage prevention and, thusly, slowing down my reload time and adding my bulwarks (which I never have used). As I said, I have been consistently completing the map for months. For example, I finished all of the coins for the rift in the last season a month before the season was over. My record time, which was just last week, was 17 minutes and 44 seconds. I think I was in about the 30th place in the rankings.
What I need to know is if there has been a re-set to the rift or what might be causing me to take so much damage even when I increase my prevention and add my bulwarks. yes, I have checked everything and I hope I am not just blown off in this inquiry.
I have easily finished the map in the past with level 3 agility and aggression trainers, I have level 4 on both right now, and yes, I checked to see if they were still active. I have easily finished the map with my damage prevention in the 93-94% range, it is now at 97%....help me. lol
