Idea to Restore ELP in Bonus Maps foolproof

Add the captcha at the end to earn the ELP as a Human verifiying their Humanity...all is well..but if it is a bot...no ELP....just basic rewards like we have now...for the bots....

for Human players it will work...

instead of the elp per wave i Recommend at tend of map and last wave for leaving scroll the entire elp of virgo 300k...

caps 400k...
you get the idea...

 

So let me just clarify one thing.

You are saying use a captcha to prove that someone is human.
You then give the human the full reward, and the bot the same reward minus the ELP?

Tell me, in your idea, if you can use captcha to detect which is a human and which is a bot, why not just ban the caught bots?


Also, there are a couple of things wrong with captcha's. Firstly, there are programs on the internet which can solve captchas, and this would likely just be incorporated into the bots. Then there is the negative impact on the honest, playing, users. This is a game at the end of the day, and although sorted bots is a big priority, they can not introduce something like captcha which the bots can solve and then its just left in the game to annoy users. At least in my opinion, they need more creative ways to make bots worthless, or ways to stop them from working.

Have to agree with ARKY here. Captcha codes would just irritate real players, and could be worked around by bots.

 

Frankly speaking, Elp as a system is completely out of date in the current game. Before it had a value and a purpose in which it had the elite designs tied to it.

Nowadays the only purpose it serves is for the bots to rank on the top of league, or rankings. Personally I think the system should be reworked

 

It used to be 216m ELP for 27 Elite. If that rate stayed constant then the number 1 on our server would now be over Elite 2000!
Got to agree though. You just need to be in Manta League to get your top elite levels, and apart from that its just another incentive for scroll botters to keep going!

Maybe it was a good idea to throw out all the ships without a captain so there's only us honest playing on the water

 

As stated, the elp system no longer serves a constructive purpose. It's barracuda league that gives elite 27 not manta, I'd almost prefer binding designs to bp rankings unless they completely remake the elp system
