Are you referring to you Player ID# because I do not see personal information? As far as reporting a name you can send that to Support with their ID# and screenshot of their name.

yep - how did he figure how my account name? (I use a different name for my ship)

You may have posted your ship ID in the forum before and now he knows. He knows you from the forum as nobody can know your ship log in name except for admins.

About the username, I googled it and it was related to football and some social media posts.

 

If you click on a ship (player or NCP - they all have IDs too ) while holding the ALT key it will display the name and ID in your chat window as a system message that you can then copy/past where ever you want (like into the Spy or a whisper).

 

IF you have a chat window , these days is kind rare

Your fellow pirate is correct, ALT + clicking your ship will give them you ID# as far as the other name I would have to say they garnered it from the forum as there is no way to get alt names on the seachart. I can't even do that.
