Is this gem not working as intended?

    Hi so I switched a few things to the crossbones including every thing on my silverblade and the specter chest hunter buff..
    Problem Im seeing though is that I can't see the chests on the minimap? is this intentional and its built into the specter or is this a bug.. it would suck if it was built into the ship ;(
