    Yuletide

The “Yuletide” (a gift chasing event) sub event is an event where a player must hold onto the gift for as long as possible to gain points and finish high in the rankings.

We have multiple Gifts and you will have to fight over them depending on your Level.

Players of level 6 to 20 will fight over 1 gift in the maps 6/1 to 20/1
Players of level 21 to 40 will fight over 1 gift in the maps 21/1 to 40/1
Players of level 41 to 50 will fight over 1 gift in the maps 41/1 to 50/1
Players of level 51 to 60 will fight over 2 gifts in the maps 45/2 to 60/1
Players of any level will fight over 2 gifts in the Atlantis 1-4
If you leave the map range, enter a bonus/raid map, go next to a Guild Island or use the Aura of Protection, you will lose the Gift.
    Yuletide Ranking Rewards

Rewards are given after each phase (daily intervals) (2 in total).

Summed Up Gift-Chaser Points equals ranking.
    Winter Event Quest Races

During the Winter Event there will be 3 race quests for each phase of the event.

The user who finishes the quest first will be rewarded.
    Races - Quests

You can accept the quest by speaking to Norton Maxwell.

Additionally, you have the chance to repeat 1 out of the 3 quests each Phase. (e.g. Phase 1, 1 quest can be repeated in Phase 2-6, etc.)
    Races - Rewards

After successfully winning the race you can win Shipdesigns and Titles.
    Races - Winners

No, only the first player that completes the quest will get the title.

This is a quest race, so players need to complete this quest as quickly as possible.
    Winter Puzzle

To get hold of the design from the Winter Puzzle you need to collect 6 different parts of the ship.

Part 1 can be gained in the “Frozen Abyss” map.

Part 2 can be gained in the “Krampus Peril” group map.

Part 3 can be gained in the “Snowman Crusher” mini game.

Part 4 can be gained by opening at least 20 of the 24 doors of the “Winter Calendar”.

Part 5 can be gained in Midgard Fest group map (reward)

Part 6 can be gained in Enter the Underworld group map (reward)
If you miss out on getting one of the parts of the ship design, you can get them by trading in your collected event currency.
    Krampus Peril

Once you have collected enough ancient emblems you are able to access the “Krampus Peril” group map by speaking to Sigurd Lundgren.

After you choose the role you want to play (“Damage Dealer”, “Healer” and “Tank”) and the team is full you are teleported to the Krampus Peril group map.

The group map has 3 phases and the goal is to protect the “Merry People” and sink the BOSS “Krampus”.

The group map is won if “Krampus” is sunk and lost when all “Merry People” are dead.

In the first phase 3 different Toys (Past Toy, Present Toy and Future Toy) spawn in 3 corners and “Party Crasher” spawn beside the Toys and try to sink the Toys.

Tip: Try to save as much Toys as possible they are needed in the 3rd phase.

The second phase starts when all “Party Crasher” or Toys have been sunk.

In that phase the Toys follow the Damage Dealers. When the Toys are sunk, th
ey spawn a Tower on the nearest Island.

“Past Toy” spawns on death a “Winter Hurtinglight” tower, which applies a de-buff (- Damage prevention) against “Krampus” in a zone around the tower.

“Present Toy” spawns on death a “Winter Cripplinglight” tower, which applies a de-buff (-Speed) on “Krampus” in a zone around the tower.

“Future Toy” spawns on death a “Winter Smashinglight” tower, which attacks “Krampus” in a zone around the tower.

The second phase ends when all Toys have been sunk or after 120 seconds and all remaining Toys de-spawn.

In the third phase “Krampus” spawns and tries to sink the “Merry People” which also spawn in that phase.

The “Merry people” follow the tank as long the Player with that role is in view range, if there is no Tank in view range they idle.

“Krampus” is using the following skills:
    • Spawns “Evil Minions” and “Hateful Minion”
    • De-buff a player with “multiplicate bomb” or “dividing bomb”
In a zone around “Krampus” all “Merry People” are damaged.

If there are no “Merry People” in that zone “Krampus” buffs itself (+ Cannon Damage and Speed) .

When “Krampus” is dead the map is won and all players receive Pearls and by a small change the 1st puzzle piece.

Crowns are rewarded for every “Merry people” which have survived.

    The Frozen Abyss

    Welcome to the Event!

"The Frozen Abyss" brings festive challenges, thrilling battles, and bountiful rewards. As you navigate the dungeon maps, you'll face fierce enemies, ally with one of three unique companions, and unlock exclusive treasures. Whether you aim to conquer the rankings, complete quests, or explore the depths of the dungeon, this event offers something for everyone. Here's everything you need to know to emerge victorious!
    Dungeon Overview

The dungeon is a rogue-like experience inspired by the classic tale"A Christmas Carol". Players will tackle increasingly difficult maps, each with unique mechanics and challenges, culminating in battles against powerful bosses.
You will need the action item “Dungeon Guide” to access the Frozen Abyss. This item can be bought in the Black Market or won through a quest.

    Key Features:
    • Random Companion Assignment: At the start of each dungeon run, you’ll be randomly assigned one of three companions: Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit, or Wretched Winifred. Each companion has unique skills and attack patterns, and mastering all three will be crucial to your success. A new companion will be randomly selected for every new run.
    • Progressive Challenges: Each chapter increases in difficulty, requiring strategic planning, adaptability, and persistence to advance.
    Companions

Your companion is your closest ally in the dungeon. Each companion offers unique abilities that complement different playstyles:
    • Tiny Tim
      • Base Attack: Increases damage and attack speed with each active buff.
      • Skill 1: Inspiring Presence – Creates a zone under your ship, boosting your attack speed and damage.
      • Skill 2: Tim’s Resolve – Debuffs nearby enemies, reducing their attack speed and damage output.
      • Playstyle: Buff-focused; excels in boosting your performance while weakening enemies.
    • Bob Cratchit
      • Base Attack: Deals heavy damage and heals your ship for a portion of the damage dealt.
      • Skill 1: Family Bond – Creates a shield that absorbs and reflects damage.
      • Skill 2: Festive Cheer – Temporarily boosts attack speed, damage, and provides healing upon enemy defeat.
      • Playstyle: Defensive and resilient; ideal for survivability.
    • Wretched Winifred
      • Base Attack: Rapid-fire attacks with a chance to trigger an AoE Joyful Burst.
      • Skill 1: Merry Laughter – Reduces enemy accuracy and boosts your hit chance.
      • Skill 2: Holiday Spirit – Increases damage output and enhances Action Item bonuses.
      • Playstyle: Aggressive and disruptive; perfect for fast-paced combat.
    Black Market and Faction Progression

The Black Market is your hub for exclusive Winter Event-themed items, including ship designs, pets, and powerful upgrades. However, unlocking the best items requires more than just Gift Boxes—it depends on your quest progress of the tasks that are assigned to you by Anne Snowbunny.

How to Unlock Black Market Tiers:
    • Christmas Memories: You’ll need to collect Christmas Memories—a special quest item dropped only by dungeon bosses—to unlock higher tiers in the Black Market.
    • Questline Progression: Anne Snowbunny will assign you a series of quests, each unlocking a new tier of the Black Market upon completion. Successfully completing all quests grants access to the highest tier.
    Bosses and Their Skills

The dungeon features three formidable bosses, each representing a different spirit of Christmas. Understanding their skills and adapting to their unique mechanics will be key to overcoming them. Be aware though, as the Bosses get more dangerous the closer they are to their defeat.
    Spirit of Christmas Past

This ethereal figure embodies nostalgia and memory, challenging players with illusions and disorienting mechanics.
    • Phase 1: Echoes of the Past
      • Memory Mirage: Summons illusions of previous Winter Event bosses (e.g., Fossegrim, The Ice Queen, The Evil Snowman). These illusions attack with standard abilities and apply the Eternal Punishment debuff.
      • Ghostly Projection: Creates multiple projections of itself. Only one is real and can be damaged; others dissipate when attacked.
      • Nostalgic Lull: Temporarily slows the player’s ship, reducing attack and movement speeds.
    • Phase 2: Flickering Memories
      • Temporal Rift: Creates a rift that distorts the battlefield, blurring the player’s vision and resembling past encounters. Players must navigate carefully to avoid hazards.
      • Reflection Attacks: Reflects some of the damage inflicted on the boss back at you. Forces strategic decision-making.
      • Memory Flame: Summons flames that slowly move toward the player, exploding on contact and causing damage over time.
    Spirit of Christmas Present

An imposing figure that balances generosity and wrath, using gifts to buff or debuff players.
    • Phase 1: Generosity and Wrath
      • Gift of Plenty: Throws magical gifts onto the battlefield. Some heal or provide buffs, while others explode and deal damage over time. Players must choose wisely as gifts despawn quickly.
      • Holiday Charge: Charges at the player’s ship, dealing massive collision damage. A brief visual cue telegraphs the attack, allowing time to evade.
      • Blessing and Curse: Casts dual-effect spells, providing both buffs (e.g., attack speed) and debuffs (e.g., reduced defense). Players must adapt to these shifting conditions.
    • Phase 2: Abundance Overload and Distance Management
      • Abundance Overload: Creates a growing AoE around the Spirit, dealing damage per tick. Staying inside too long is dangerous, forcing players to stay mobile.
      • Gifts of Generosity and Greed: Throws two types of gifts—generous (green, provide healing and buffs) and greedy (red, apply debuffs). Players must quickly differentiate and act accordingly.
      • Proximity Punishment: Applies Isolation Dread if players stay too far from the Spirit for too long. The debuff causes stacking damage, shrinking the safe radius over time.
    Spirit of Christmas Future

A towering, shadowy figure representing death and doom, this Spirit overwhelms players with minions and powerful attacks.
    • Phase 1: Shadow of the Future
      • Shroud of Dread: Surrounds itself with dark mist, reducing player visibility and attack accuracy. The mist also slows the player’s ship.
      • Death's Omen: Marks the player with a sigil that deals increasing damage over time. Players can remove the mark by dealing a set amount of damage to the Spirit within a short time.
      • Grave Summon: Calls forth undead NPCs to attack the player. These ships are slow but deal heavy damage if not eliminated.
    • Phase 2: Grip of the Grave
      • Chains of Fate: Summons ghostly chains that anchor to the player’s ship, slowing it and freezing it in place. Players must destroy the spectral anchors to break free.
      • Spectral Reapers: Summons reapers that slowly seek the player. Reapers cannot be damaged.
      • Grave Mist: Surrounds the battlefield with mist that closes in over time, dealing increasing damage to players caught in it. This forces players to stay near the center, closer to the Spirit's attacks.
    • Additional Abilities:
      • The Silent Watcher: Each time the player fails to dodge an attack or is hit by a special ability, they gain a debuff that increases damage taken and reduces speed.
      • Mark of Finality: Periodically marks the battlefield with glowing runes that explode after a short delay, dealing heavy damage. Players must avoid these zones while managing other mechanics.
    Tips for Facing Bosses:

Study their mechanics beforehand and bring the right Action Items to counter specific skills.

Stay mobile, adapt to shifting conditions, and prioritize eliminating minions to avoid being overwhelmed.

Use your companion's skills wisely to maximize your damage output and survivability.
    Quests

Anne Snowbunny needs your help to rid himself of her ghostly visitors, and she’ll reward you handsomely for your efforts. The questline progresses through five main quests, each unlocking a new Black Market tier. After completing the fifth quest, you can continue gathering additional rewards through a repeatable quest..

    Quest Progression:
    • Quest 1: "The Quest before Christmas"
