am a bit of a tech *edit*, but curious.

    How does it work?
    > when my ship doesnt move for say.. 10 seconds, but I see other ships moving, or NPC ships are also moving / shooting at me.
    >> does that imply the lag is on my side's connection or whats up?

    --thanks

    Ahoy,

The situation you have described could be either yourself or the server. It is caused by no game updates being received by your PC, which could be because of your connection or because the server failing to send updates for 10 seconds.

The easiest way to tell is to ask your fellow pirates if they also "froze" for 10 seconds, if everyone else has froze, then this is down to the server, if it was just you, then this is your connection.

    Has this answered your query?
