Light of tortuga

Howdy. now I promise this is a genuine problem. it's with the light of tortuga. I know how it works with close range and burns and stuff yada yada. the problem I have is this.

for the last 2 weeks my light of tortuga is getting popped when I click to repair. There's nothing in the manual that says you cannot repair under the light. I am not getting hit, not next to anybody and yet when I hit the light then repair it pops my light. the way it happens is this.

1) I make sure that no-one is around me, and that I've not been hit with burn. when it's safe, I use my light of tortuga.

2) I hit my repair button so I can start the pair process under light.

3) the repair function pops my light again.

I've lost over 15 lights of tortugas this way and it's really annoying the hell out of me and other players. spre me the "cannot repair under light" response, it never happened before and it needs fixing.
