lock target

Hello guys how can i lock on a player ?because when im fighting and enemy change maps my aim is nowhere but he attack me intantly and change map again.This happening me just 1-2 weeks,old days target was on them and everything was fine?Any help?

 

best way is to get away from the borders and fight mid-map, if you are facing a border jumper, that's about the only defense for it, that i ever seen, otherwise, get your guild and or friends to help hunt this guy. just my opinion, pretty sure someone will come along to either add to it or offer a different tactic.

I know a few tricks I can share with you (let me know), but first: I bet your boat doesn't have Level 5 skill (or higher) in "Destruction's Reach" in Agwe's Passageway does it? If you don't and he does, then you are simply being out-ranged. If this is the case, he simply gets a lock and can shoot you while staying outside your range.
A second option is just that his boat is fast and he has a lock on you and when he changes maps, then you change, he fires as he is already 50% or more into his next map change.

 

i got full skills ship mate,that makes me having 1024 speed and max range,but my question is why target is dissappearing when i swap maps?before some days that didnt happen target was in the same ship till i change it.

 

would it be you accidentally push the roller of your mouse? If you roll the roller, the target lock will change to other object like monster or npc nearby you.

 

I think you said he is still able to shoot you but you can't see him? If that is the case, then I have no clue. If he just disappears after a map change, maybe it is the Light of Tortuga he activated. I think activating the Light on a map change forces a loss of the lock, but I am not positive. Sorry I am not more help.

 

What are the dodge and damage gems for then? Is he breaking your lock? If he is somehow breaking your lock that is interesting. I think there may be a lag though.

 

Target does not change unless u press toggle opponents button check your pc status its not an ingame problem.
And as for you not being able to see him is becouse you are following him on map jump it takes you to 0.3-0.5 sec to change map not calcucating your lag if u have and the enemy already has the map jump ready and only preses atack button as soon as he sees his ffire button lighted up he jumps and he has launched already one shot py presing the hotkey rapidly. The better pc and better connection will win on map jump.
