Login daily bonus

Today, as most other days (not all), my wife logged onto her boat and this was her daily login bonus and I noticed that her's and mine were completely different and was wondering why?
In the past everyone who logged on received the same bonus as not to show favoritism to anyone on the game, don't get me wrong her boat needs all the help she can get from time to time.
This is her bonus:

You have the daily login bonus (left one) and the bonus you get for logging in every single day for X days(right one)

 

I understand what your saying m8 but still it does not explain this disparity between to different accounts.

 

It will depend on how many times per month you have both logged in. That will determine your daily bonus.



For the special rewards, it will depend how many times total you have logged in from when this system was first implemented.

Not really, since we have both logged on each day this month usually within minutes of each other being this is the only computer we have. Thank you for trying to clear this up and no, it really hasn't answered the question as to why her rewards are so much more different than mine.

 

Have you both logged in the same number of total times (ie. 242x, etc.)?

It sounds like she hit a reward, whereas, you did not.

yes but m8 you get a reward for logging in on the same day (3x voodoo booster which you both got)

but because you havent logged in the same amount of times exactly (she mightve logged in a total of 240 times and landed on reward chest today, you mighve logged in 276 times and your reward chest might not be until 4 more days.

you get reward chest every 5-10 logins but also 1 bonus reward everyday throughout the month

 

Ok, let me see if I understand what you all are saying according to what you wrote, throughout a 30 day period, I initially log in to claim my reward then after, say, an hour of sailing, I log out and come back in 4 hours and log on again this adds to the total number of log-on bonus later in the month.
I know that she logs on more than I do at different times of the day whereas I sail for hours and then log completely out until the next day, so, therefore, she would have a higher number of monthly login which would technically give her a bigger bonus than mine, if this is true, then I understand now and the thread may be closed.

 

I think that only the first login per day matters. It should not matter how many times a day you log in. Only the first time matters. A logic explanation would be that you missed a day by accident without realising it.

 

Everything Xennonn has said is correct. Sertatumsingi is also correct.

Log-ins reset at Midnight, daily. Ex. You could log-in at 10pm PST, and be credited with a daily log-in. If you are still playing the game at Midnight PST, you can again claim a prize. The daily log-in bonus will then reset by Midnight, the next day. It won't matter how many times the following day you log-in, the daily bonus won't be reset until it reaches Midnight.

Something else to add to this, the monthly side of the daily bonus (left side) resets each month even if you haven't collected all of the bonuses. The right side doesn't reset ever, it just keeps counting the number of days you've logged in since they started this bonus. Look at the number of total logins on the right side for both of you and see that they are different. Also on the right side you can see how many logins until you get that set of bonuses and it tells you what they will be too. Look at the image that Manoverboard included in his post above (#4) and see the arrow pointing at 237 and the 2 logins left. Compare that to your wife's. I bet they are different and that one of you didn't login as often as the other.

 

thanks everyone for the input but I will say that each day we both login and this being the only computer we use for seafight it's usually within seconds before she or I will do our own boat login
