Suggestion Lower map cruisers

You guys should spend 24 hrs on and off monitoring lower maps for bot programs. Amazingly, you can find ships with the same cruising pattern picking shinies. These ships are on 24/7 and are not beginners (lvls 1-5) and sport high rank badges yet still collect shinies. It's a bunch of bs and makes it discouraging for those little ships or beginners that are trying to collect them and those spending money

 

What bots?


Shiny_Bot#27 forum name was created in protest to highlight how 90% of the boats running are bots now. If it were possible I would change my forum name to Anti-Bot but stuck with this.

 

First, as you have written and decided to post a "Suggestion" this is not the correct thread for that. Secondly, it is, and as will be a problem in dealing with suspicious players utilizing the external programs and reporting them to BP. Gather as much information as you can possibly get, ID player number, ship name, screenshots and video if possible and then submit this information to BP support. In the meantime, feel free to gather free battle points by sinking them often.

 

ok patterns do increase shiny hunting. I have different patterns for different map. I pick up shinys and prefer the low maps so I dont accidently run into a island. The last event one faction took advantage of event by dragging event ships to island avoiding all combat and getting free pearls. Now I play to relieve stress and allow me to tune out the world. Running any sort of assist program defeats the purpose of playing the game. Since you can buy programmable mouse and keyboards its kind of unfair to say most folks resort to such advatges. Spend time on game and get to know folks. See how game is being played. Run with folks with like minds. But your assessment is unfair.

My observation is just that. To play 24 hours a day is far from normal. Ship in 1/4 has been on for over a week at all hours. I know bots are an issue and I have seen them often for past 6 1/2 years. He stays in 1 maps so he can't be sunk. Thats not stress relief it's cheating. If your not a bot its not a big deal

 

I tried that Challenger and I get an error when I try to send it to support. If they go to 1/4 and see baron and pirate badges on ships collecting shinies running the same patterns together it would be a good indication they should look more closely at them. I don't mind trying to help BP but it's not just the players job to police for bots

 

many of the bots I am think they work from bigpoint sins they stil on water
