So I see there are Mod Ships. Why do they exist? What is their purpose? And apparently they do not enjoy the same game play as the rest of us, why is that?

The mod ships are accounts that are made for players to take on the Moderators. These accounts are not for general every day use. All moderators have their own accounts that are the same as players, have the same items as players and are paid or played with in the same manner as players.

The mod accounts are accounts that are BPs accounts and are sent on to the water on the odd occasions for players to shoot and try to sink. These are not at anyway used by moderators for normal game play.

Okay. How do we as players benefit from the appearance of these BP Mod ships. Meaning can we receive a reward, like when we shoot Event ships, or is it just like shooting any other player?

There was a time when I logged onto the ship, everyone that sunk me received 50k soul eater as a reward, as the boat was really hard to sink.

In recent times now though, you just have fun sinking the Moderator ship.
