New Bokor Carronade

    I Think it's time for a new bokor type of weapon, short range big damage. We haven't had new type of weapon in a while.

    Voodoo Carronade

    These Mighty Carronades have a Short range but deal deadly damage and have a lightning fast reload. Sneak in, get close to your enemy and blast them to the bottom of the sea with these deadly carronades!

    Range 12
    +300 damage with elite ammo
    +15 damage with gold ammo
    Reload 5 seconds
    + 2 ELP per shot


    Need more variety in game, more weapons. This would be cool to see.
    Different weapons with range, reload and damage add a little flavor to the game.

    Would like to see something new in bokor too.

    I don't think so, we already have cannons that do very well once they are upgraded and used with the correct ammo.

    I think this is really cool. Every cannon after the 50Lb has the same range and there have been no changes to the Range aspect of the game since they removed the initial "lock" range from Windstorms. (For those that do not remember, you had to be closer to be able to fire and could then pull back, meaning you could outrange enemies with skill).

    I do see these completely outclassing Firestorms as they are only used on events which it seems these Cannons would excel at but I think with some heavy balancing these could in fact be very interesting. If they do though I feel it is only fair that Firestorm Cannons become mass available for pearls.

    Put me down with USSChallenger... its not needed.

    There is already more than enough items now, and almost every one of them
    has brought a series of un-intended consequences,requiring the items to be
    adjusted to lesser values than what was paid for.

    New items are not gonna save this game.

    New items are not gonna bring back the players that left this game and its not gonna
    keep the players thinking of leaving from leaving the game.

    Why not simply convert the older unused Cannons what we have already purchased in the past into these new 'Carronade' Cannons?

    They could just assign a fancy new name onto our old 60's and give them new values and shorter ranges, which would prevent us wasting our old Cannons or needing to purchase more of what is cluttering up our storage. To give flexibility to upgrade them, simply remove all the old crystal upgrades and start afresh from level zero up to level 5 for those that should wish.

    or maybe let us combine old 60`s and 55`s into theses cannons ,,the chances of getting refunded on them are zero

    I like the thought, however remember that 60Lbs are the only true free cannon with the same range as the others. I don't think replacing 60s with these would work but some kind of upgrade would be good. I quite like the idea of this because with the range element you can make decent cannons for free players to use which would let them compete if they used them properly, but it would add more skill in as they'd have to stay in close range of the enemies and not get out-ranged.

    60s have the same range as 55s and admirals, both 'true free cannons'

    I guess the biggest problem is that 60s level 5 do 15 damage compared to doomhammers base level 0, 75 damage. The people who can't afford these cannons are quitting in bunches cause they can't compete with 60s which are total garbage.

    I get it, us paying customers like to have an advantage over f2p as we should, but I'm kind of worried about who the hell we are going to sink with these p2w cannons. If the closest cannon in damage to [Doomhammers lvl 5 125 damage] that is obtainable without spending an arseload of money is [60s Level 5 15 damage] And then theres voodoo cannons that are 30 damage with level 3 priest, hardly comparable to doomhammers.

    And then again, there was people who quit that spent money on this game who just aren't bat s*** crazy enough to spend 100s of $ on virtual cannons.
    I don't think many gamers would spend 99$ US for 45 virtual cannons, and us who do are already smashing those who don't. Ez game no competition.

    Now shrinking maps from 68 to 36, right.... I see where this is going. :eek:

    Doomhammer Level 5 - 125 Damage
    60s Level 5 - 15 Damage

    Doomhammers +110 more damage.


    Even as a paying player it's still boring af to have it this easy. You call this PVP?

    Just for reference

    If you spent 150$ on getting skills, ebony and ivory decks (which is a lot of money for most people) and maxed your castles from farming. Still you can't compete unless you were willing to drop 100s of $ into cannons. What kind of a marketing strategy is this?

    But most people are not retarded enough to spend that kind of money on a game, I guess that explains the shrinking of maps already, just 2 years after the merge.

    Some think this is a good thing, totally blind to the fact why maps are now shrinking.

    I would like to see voodoo cannons for pearls before anything new. I am considering quitting the game as I have already maxed everything available for pearls. I could go for the remaining beam slots, but meh. This once great game is dying because is porrly managed.

    Please consider that I use no 60's in my ship being 100% f2p and I still get wrecked by anyone who buys cannons. If I had some spare hundreds, I would go for a ps3 maybe but not even joking I would get doomhammers. I love the exclusives and the ps1 emulator feature.

    The problem we have now is the gap between players who spend 1000$+ on the game and the ones who spend 0-300$. It is so big that it is killing the game. There is no way for them to compete anymore without dropping at least a grand on the game.

    It seems some of the p2w guys enjoy the easy sinks because It's just the way some people are. I've played a lot of games where people like to have a massive advantage so they can win easily.

    I'm full doomhammer lvl 3 and it's just gotten to be so boring. The guys who don't have full doomhammer cannons are piece of cake to sink. And then the players who have doomhammers are a small percentage and it always seems like if you want a challenging fight it's always the same boats you are fighting.

    Ffs I wish we could have atleast a reasonable balance between those who can drop a lot of money on the game and those who can't. The PvP in this game stinks right now. Too easy for the players who can buy p2w cannons.

    Oh and just wait until that maps go from 64 to 36, It will make this problem even more worse. Newbs will never survive now...

    Seafight a PvP game? Are you kidding me? Some of the NPC's are harder to sink than 90% of the players.

    I Guess Ill have fun 1-4 shotting players, good fun.... Great game, PvP is 10/10, much better than what it use to be. Don't even need to try anymore.
