New extensions

How does the extensions work, are they on the boat permanent or limited time?
Can they be combined in any way or only one at the time?

The seafight bible wasn't to any help really just explains what they include.

You can use multiple extensions at the same time. If you use only 1 type of extensions, that particular extensions' bonus will be higher, but if you use many extension in your setup, values will be smaller, but more diverse.

Some values are "absolute", which means that no matter how many of the same extension you have, value will not be changed.

While some other values are "averaged". More of the same extension will result in higher (maximum) bonus.

Which values are absolute, and which are average, you can check here

What is the best extension, ofcourse depend on situation you're in. I suggest you create multiple presets, 1 - prevention, 2- damage, 3- boarding, 4- healer, 5- harpoon

You could also try mixing up the extensions.

where are these extension slots located? are they where you put your beams or is there a different spot?

 

Query of relevance as the duration is still unclear. How long does One of these extension items last for, if not fitted and also once they have been equipped?

A full description of items they intend to sell before they place them on sale would serve to remove confusion and help to avoid all these questions.

 

Yes, you are correct, extensions take "structure slots", also known as expansions.

To use extension you have to remove/replace wooden/hardwood beams.

To the best of my knowledge, extensions should be permanent.

If you are reffering to Cannon damage, no. Cannon damage value on this extension is absolute. Cannon damage will be only increased by 10%, no matter the amount of this same extension you have on your setup.

At this very moment extensions can NOT be upgraded.

in payment section in only lvl 0 and as all seen there are 5 or 6 lvl of that items. So u want to say i can buy for a lot of money lvl0 now and in few days u give to payment lvl1????
and keep going that way to lvl5
yday when i was able to buy it on market was enough one item to get all buff, why in payment u can buy more items?? where is info??
