I have the 15% - damage pet.. with 25k hp..
but i don't think the 15% damage is working..

Players are hitting the same on me when i don't have the pet on.. after testing.. than when i do have it on..

When players are actually hitting 40k hits on me, with flares when in theory i have 52% protection.. . meaning normally they hit 80k with flares.. which can't be possible.

    Could this be checked out?
I have the 25k hp thing.. but there must be a bug with the damage protection.

Ah.. so does that mean theres 15% chance of dodging someones hit?
does that mean, if it works.. i won't take any damage for that 1 hit at all?
Weird.. ive had the phobos for months but never seen it work once?
Im sure i was taking 15% less damage..

tHE HIT CHANCE REDUCTION MEANS THAT x% of the cannons won't hit, decreasing the received damage.

    Sorry for the caps locked.

Stactic - In my opinion you're better off having more base HP than you are having extra VP if you need to choose between the two.
My reasoning behind this is although collectively HP and VP added together do form a stronger overall ship, do remember it is easily possible to remain unsunk and still happily afloat with very low base HP but no VP whatsoever .....this however is not possible the other way arround, i.e. with no base HP but low VP. Feed him and the pet food provides further reduction benefits specifically designated dependent upon the food you are using.

Once the base HP has been removed that's it m8, you simply become just an entry in someone's log book (lol)!!

For those reasons I still believe the Immortur - (mummy) to still be the best pet. Although it provides absolutely zero VP, it does gemerously provide a plus 40k base HP added protection. Additionally this pet also ensures by the wording a quote, -10% damage taken so as a bonus the enemy inflicts 10% lower damage every shot.

In summary mathmatically I believe the Immortur to be the most effective pet, as all the other pets are amiguously described as only quote: +5% less chance you\'ll be hit! or +15% less chance you\'ll be hit!

The latter 5% and 10% chances are nowhere near guaranteed, they are only as stated. When you consider it carefully they provide a slim chance every now and then that you might not be hit....on most the other occasions you will be hit with the attacker's full damage. Also the added bonus is that you can repair base HP, 'on the run' unlike VP where you need to be stationary to replace it...unless a next generation Voodoo priest is about to become a welcome part of the game?

Stac m8 - TBH I cannot recall. Although I think it was a reward item I cannot rule out the possibility it could have been a purchase. Perhaps any other guys might be able to clarify?
