Suggestion New ranking system

So I've been thinking how to change the ranking system since the current one doesn't really work imo. Talking about the bronze, silver and gold plates etc.

The only thing it shows is how much you've been botting and no one wants to know that, if you wanna know just go to hall of fame and see who has the most EXP.

I'd like the ranks to be something similar to ranked play in games like apex legends.

My example is that the rank should change every 2 weekss (I'll explain later why I want it short) and the rank is determined by how many players you've sunk. And it's not related to battlepoints, it's gonna be its own point system cause if we'd go by battle points all the high ranking players wouldn't be able to get much points. There should also be a limit to how many times you can sink one player, otherwise the bots would win easy. The ammount of points you get from one player could be related to the players' current rank. Say that someone with the trident rank sinks someone with the plate gets like 4 points but if the plate sinks the trident get only get like 2 points (just an example).

And you should not be able to get points from your allies or your own guild cause then you could boost yourself, which is why you should not be able to change who your allied guilds are during those two weeks, which is why I want the time period so short.

That's all I could think of, hope you can spread this around if you like my idea so that the devs pay attention to it, feel free to elaborate if you want to add anything more to it

 

Very good idea, I can aim very fast.

 

- You want to implement same or similar idea in game that is completely different.
- This new ranking system will show how much money players spend in their ship (no skills)
- Bot users will use auto target for their advantage, they will put AT on and change maps occasionally so they can sink new ships.
- Idea is not good for this game because it's more pay to win that put some hours to learn skill like apex, cod etc.

 

I'm open to other suggestions, I don't think this is a bad idea, it's better than the current one imo. I know that this game is pay to win but why does that have to be an obstacle for a new ranking system? And bots have an advantage in the current ranking system too and I'd say they have less advantage in this one cause they can't sink more ships efficiently than a manual player.

If you can't come up with a better ranking system I don't think it's worth shutting this one down. Also another reason I really dislike the current ranking system is that it's basically impossible to come up to the plate ranks unless you farm exp for 5 years. Which is ridiculous to me

 

it's not bad idea but if it was like quest line for shooting players so that way you have to accept and complete it so you have to play and players with 6k+++ USD ships are not dominating the ranks. MAYBE???

 

what do you mean by questline?

 

well you go to quest giver accept quest in example inflict 50m dmg to a player, kill 20 players on map ... board players and as reward will give you points for ranking system and they should be daily and non daily progressive quest like inflict 50m then 75m then 100m etc. so you actually have to find players to shoot and return it for the rewards and big money ships will not be always on top but dedicated players. idk xD

and also suggestion to current ranking, remove all exp rewards but leave the daily quests exp so play them in order to gain rank lol

 

that actually sounds good, good way to counter bots
