    Nordic Rumble

    General Info

Nordic Rumble is a new PvPvE battle for survival set within a dangerous and shrinking map.

Players battle against each other, powerful NPCs, and time as they scavenge for equipment, complete missions, and aim to be the last ship sailing.
    Time and Date

The Nordic Rumble will be active until July 23rd noon.

    How to access

    Joining the map is free.

Within every surface Safe Haven you will find a portal, entering this portal will place you within the queue, leaving the portal will remove you from the queue.

    The portal looks like this:

The map requires 25 participants, however, after a minimum amount of players has been reached, the remaining participants will be filled with bots that will act as players within the map.
    Match Structure

Each Nordic Rumble match begins with a wide area that slowly shrinks over time, forcing players into confrontation.

The environment becomes increasingly hostile as time progresses, both from NPC threats and reduced space to manoeuvre.

    Player Loadout and Looting
All players start with a basic configuration and must improve by finding loot throughout the match. Equipment is obtained by opening chests.

Chests can be found randomly around the map, or spawn when defeating NPCs, or completing missions.

There are two kind(s) of chests:

    Weathered Chest

This chest contain a random "ship modification" + Laguz Runes.

    Gilded Chest

This chest contain a random (better) "ship modifications"+ higher amount of Laguz Runes).

Items come in multiple rarities and types, each giving you specific bonuses.

Different shape of the items provide different sort of bonuses.

When you collect a Chest or Item, you will be presented with a window popup.

On the left side the item you currently possess is displayed (1), and on the right side the new item you have just collected is displayed (2).

    upload_2025-7-10_20-28-25.png

You can only choose one item, the discarded item will appear next to you on the map.

Note: You can either click on a button "Keep this" or "Choose this", or simply use your key binds to move left or right. In this example WSAD movement is used so clicking A would keep the currently owned item while D would replace owned item (1) with the new one (2).

Note: Please note that the number above the item is the "item level" that mean Damage 27x will be weaken than Damage 28x.

Weathered Chest has the appearance of a Treasure Chest, and Gilded Chest has the appearance of an Event Chest.

Weathered Chest mostly provides common rarity items, with a slight chance for Epic items, whereas a Gilded Chest can provide up to Legendary tier items.
    Missions
During the match, players may discover three types of missions scattered across the map.

Completing these missions grants rewards including Laguz Runes, Ranking Points, a chance to win the new Oseberg Design, or a Respawn Token.

There are three types of missions; Treasure Hunters Wanted, Wanted Pirate and Bounty Hunters Wanted.

    Bounty Hunters Wanted

Similar to Treasure Hunters, however this time when you reach the location an NPC will spawn that is aggressive and provides more loot.
    Trader

Static traders appear in each match on islands.

These traders offer various upgrades, including extra Voodoo Points, Respawn Tokens, buffs and more.
    Death
When you are sunk, you will enter a ghost state.

    During this state you are
unable to attack any players, accept any missions, or win the match.

Players may have a Respawn Token from other aspects of the match that allows a one-time respawn.

Should you have one, this will be used automatically and you'll respawn from ghost state to your normal state after a short delay with no items or buffs.

However, once the final phase of the match begins, respawning is disabled entirely.

Should you not have a Respawn Token while in ghost state, you can either Leave the Map by pressing the button, or observe the battle unfold and see how it plays out.
    Winning the Match
The last surviving player is declared the match winner.

You’ll receive the most amount of Rumble Tokens, a new Title “Last Pirate Standing”, and Ranking Points.

Even if you do not win the match, you will still be awarded Rumble Tokens based on how well you performed within the game.
    Ranking
Performance in Nordic Rumble contributes to a ranking system, with players earning points based on your final placement.

You can also earn points when killing a player, completing a mission in-match, killing the rare NPCs.

Be careful however, you can lose ranking points if you are killed early in the game, and if you leave the game while alive you will lose a larger amount!
    Rumble Tokens
Players earn a special currency from match placement, and both daily and weekly quests provided on the sign next to the entrance portal. This currency can be exchanged for items within the regular shop.

    Badges

Based on your ranking position, you will be awarded a Badge.

Every player who is within the top 10,000 in the Ranking will receive a Badge, regardless of your total points.
