NPC Announcements.

In the event currently running, a "Ladon" npc spawned on map 50-3 in an white text announcement on my Seachart. However, it did *not* show in the "Announcements" box, and it did *not* show up when I hovered my mouse cursor over that map in my Compass Rose. It was in map 50-3 too, so it wasn't like it didn't show because the npc failed to spawn. I just wanted to call this to your attention. Thank you.

I have not personally seen any issue with the event announcements and I have been watching closely as I play.
I have been checking my announcement box when I see the announcements appear on the seachart and it all seems to be working ok.

However as you have pointed out what you have seen I will continue to monitor this aspect of the event for anomalies.

Regarding the hovering your cursor over the world map to show event admirals, this was a feature during the previous event (Civil war) which showed Npc's such as Elric Fletcher in locations on the world map, This feature is not present on every event and is not present within the current event.

Yes - it was kind of odd that when I saw the white text message on my seachart, I immediately noticed it was not in the "Announcements" box, and it never showed up in it. And I have seen those multiple Ladon announcements too, but in this instance I referred to, it spawned just one Ladon in map 50-3. Thanks for clarifying that the "mouse cursor" admiral npc feature isn't in every event. You may close this thread.
