ok so im *sorta* new & need some help

my account is 6 years old but im not familiar with this new seafight comapred to 2012

everytime i ask people how to farm pearls they say to get to level 24 and join the commonwealth raid

so im currently working up to level 24(or 26? i dont remember), and im currently level 21, trying to do some quests so i can get my level 22.
so i think i have to do the quest chain from oswald in the 17/1 safe haven? and he wants me to kill 20x HRMS Renown.

but they hit my ship for 40-45k even though i have 48% damage prevention?

is it even worth me trying to get into this raidmap even when i cant even complete this quest?

 

Hello, the game is constantly developing and sometimes the ways to gather pearls change; there are still the tried and trusted methods of gathering pearls, the waves in the various bonus maps, the tentacles and the Kraken map as well as the Behemoth map and the daily login bonuses amongst the many other ways to acquire them,

The grind to Level 26 will not be easy, I can tell you that now. It takes a lot of work completing quest lines and daily quests, especially if your boat is behind like it seems to be with Renowns hitting you as hard as they are.

Reaching the Commonwealth Raid Map is extremely rewarding as top level players can make around 100k pearls profit per hour in there. I think you should however focus on the conventional methods for the mean-time. The Behemoth Raid is often full of bots and few stronger players so that could be a safe way to make some pearls. Shiny hunting and throwing in mojo to get scrolls can be a great method too as it will get you pearls from the shinies themselves as well as other items from the scrolls and mojo.

I would stick to these methods and try to bump up your attack damage and damage prevention to make the quests a little easier for you.

Be sure to get the Level 1 Sellsword from boarding an HRMS Warrior, although this may take a few tries. It will give you 30 extra cannons as well as boosted Hit Probability on NPCs, making the quests even faster.

Test out both the Behemoth Raid and the Shiny Hunting/Scrolls methods and see what works best for you. I've not done shinies or behemoth raid for a while now so I am unsure as to which is better but Shiny Hunting and Scrolls I think will be a little faster and more profitable although it will require more attention, whereas for the Behemoth Raid Map it is easy to do other things while repairing or waiting for a ship to be shot down.

Just to add, my ship is not at top level; it is just decent, but not very strong and I can make over 100k pearl per hour in big raid. You can also get emperor/beastmaster (highest level) gem bags by boarding an admiral that spawns there. It sucks to get to 26, but it pays off really well.

Make sure you have a very high hit chance before attempting to level up. You may also want to try using commonwealth guardian and admiral cannons to hollow the renowns. Its slow, but it works.
