    Open Beta Server
    Ahoy Pirates,

It is once again time to officially re-open the Beta server to allow you to test milestone 2 of the Transmogrification system! We have reset all accounts on the Beta server and, upon login, you will be automatically booked a stack of items including pearls, crystals and a host of ship designs. The ship designs are the most important part as this will allow you to be able to test the Gem Forge on the Safe Havens.

You can find the Safe Havens by checking the map overview / scroll on the Sea Chart – you will see lighthouses which represent where you can find the Safe Havens which are situated just outside the main Sea Chart boarders. To get onto the Safe Haven you need to go to the boarder of the map, as you would to change maps normally.

A couple of important things to note:

If you want to move a Gem from one ship to another you should first move it to the Inventory. You are also able to simply put a new Gem onto another ship by putting it on top of the current Gem on that ship BUT this will overwrite and delete the old Gem. If you click to “accept” the changes you will lose your old Gem so please make sure you read everything on the screen carefully beforehand! If you don’t want to overwrite your old Gem, you should move it into the Inventory first. It should become clear once you have had a little play about with the feature on the Open Beta.

As this is not a live server, please do not use the Support link to contact us about the Open Beta as this will just take time away from us being able to help you with issues on the live servers. Instead, please post your comments and bug reports in the discussion thread. We will not book any items to your Open Beta accounts so please do not ask us here or through ticket to Support.

If you would like to assist us in testing on the Open Beta please visit the following link and register an account as you would if it was a live server:

If you notice any bugs that are not currently in the live servers, especially those that are connected to the Gem Forge, please report them in the discussion thread with the following information:

    1. Summary

    2. Description

    3. Steps to Reproduce

This will greatly help us to catch the problems before they are released live into the game and make your gaming experience all the more enjoyable.

Please note that the “Polish gems” section at the bottom of the page is not planned for milestone 2. This will come in milestone 3.

The Transmogrification System is planned to go live next Tuesday, 8th July, so please test out the system on the Open Beta and leave us your bug reports and feedback in the discussion section of the forum.

    Ahoy Pirates,

The Open Beta server has been opened.

Please be aware of the fact, that the Open Beta still contains the “unstable built” for the new Inventory System. Pirates can have a look into the current production status but please do not expect a version in its final state.

We are of course interested in any feedback you can give, be it Bugs or just general Feedback on the feature itself.

If you notice any bugs that are not currently in the live servers, especially those that are connected to the New Inventory System, please report them in the discussion thread with the following information:

    1. Summary

    2. Description

    3. Steps to Reproduce

    4. User id

This will greatly help us to catch the problems before they are released live into the game and make your gaming experience all the more enjoyable.

    Your Seafight Team.
