Opinions of a new player

I just started playing seafight a couple of days ago on USA WEST and i have some problems or atleast questions with the state of the game as it is.
1. How should i level up, do quests or farm when everytime i go out of the SH map i get sunk by bigger players in 2 shots.
I can't join a guild as everybody wants just strong over 20+ level players.
You go on the Guild rank, just to see what guilds are out there...oh yea the rank is fake as no guild that has an island or i have seen on the map is in the rank !
How am i supposed to play this game when most of the time i wander around sunk ?
I really hope any of the devs can give an answer on this...

Sorry to see that you having a rough time, but . . you have to understand, everyone has gone thru what you are going thru right now, it is the nature of the game. Unfortunately, you started playing after they killed off the remaining PvE zones, so you will have to tough it out. I would say to join a good guild, but as you have already noticed, almost all guilds these days require you to have at least grown to lv20 just to survive in one, the only other way around this is form yourself a guild, and grow as best as you can . . it's a pain, but it has been done before.

 

There must be a thing,which you can receive from the quests,it is called ''beginner protection''(maybe the name is different idk),but it will protect you from the other players. And if you want grow fast,just kill npcs and spend gold on cannon(50 pounders) and cannons slots,it will make your game MUCH MORE easier,ALL THE QUESTS from the level 1 to level 10 are incredibly easy(everyone with damage 2-5k could do them without any difficulty). From these quests you'll receive voodoos and lvl 3 60 pounders which will make your game a little bit easier. There is NPC rosa maria on the 4 map,you can receive 200k gold from this NPC,so it is 2 50 pounders. Dont forget to get an elite ship,repairmate,cannon loader from the market cove(there is 1000 gold bid enough) and to get powder monkeys,so your game will be much more easier(of course if we are speaking about PVE part of the game)

 

Try to go for competitor coins untill you get a full set of admirals wich will make getting competitor coins easier. You will be able to get gem bags later. Also do all your quests because you will be getting some cannons. DO NOT spend pearls on 55 pounders. They suck. Also login daily for cool rewards.

We only take 26+ level players...

 

I already have 180 60's level 3. Another 600k pearls that i am trying to keep for either more cannons space or if the next days any castles discount comes i will try and get level 8 reload as i have it only level 2. Only 24 skills for now as i will get that after i will get the max cannons i can for now. I tried participating in the turtle event. Usually i get about 20k+ pearls from the event ships but i usually get sunk by other guys atleast 2 times. The sad part is that i have about 350k terra ammo that i would probably not be able to use and get some more pearls from the event but i guess i will keep em for the next one.

 

Try devourers. Some farmers would never stop shooting it so you should be fine. Get admiral cannons with competitor coins so you save 500000 pearls per purchase and try to join whomever controls sun map so you can farm pearls. After reloader go for damage and then whatever you need.
