Patchday Notes 6/16/23 (Increased Hit Points).

    Improvement:
    • We have heard your calls for a PvP Rebalancing, therefore, we are starting to make some changes to that goal. We shall start small, listen to feedback and suggestions, and make more changes as needed. Today, to begin, we have increased a designs default HP from 75,000 to 300,000. We have also increased the Hitpoints you can gain from the Castles by a factor of 5.
    This is a very terrible change! My goodness! Due to the mistake made by changing the Light of Tortuga from pure invisibility to doubling a player's Regular base Hit Points when the LOT is activated, many players (including myself) now roam the Seachart with 1.5 to 2.0 million Regular bases (not even counting the Voodoo Shields). And one salvo (with between a 1.5 to 2-second reload time) can hit 800k+!

    Where does all of this end? The only possible beneficiary of this change that I can see is Bigpoint. With (coming soon) total bases of 6-million hit points and 1,500 cannons, they can sell a LOT more cannons! But this type of thinking has just ruined this game. There will be a "straw that broke the camel's back" at some point. I am just surprised we haven't already reached it......(or have we)?????
