    for the price of gold or pearls respectfully, you get 14 regardless of how many you have on hand and they last that many days.

    Just to clarify what USSChallenger1 is saying. You only need 1 Cabin Boy / Powder Monkey to get the full benefit. The Number simply shows for how many days you own these Crew Members. E.g. 1 = 1 Day, 5 = 5 Days, 14 = 14 Days.
