Problem with daily quest "Another Chance".

I had this happen before, but thought I knew why. Until now. It's a bit after 6 p.m. server time on Sunday. I had just accepted the quest, and was fooling with my captains, all while sitting still in SH. I checked and the quest box is suddenly now empty. I went and activated it again, and will now do it, but would you check please. (I do this quest every day). Thank you for your time and help!

What exactly do you want us to review??

If you accepted a quest and it is there then what's the problem?

Please always post your server and user ID without this information, the administrators cannot have your logs and account checked.

My User ID: is 40/25190813. What do you think I want you to review? I can't be much clearer than I was. I had this particular quest going for 10 minutes and it suddenly vanished! That isn't the norm, or is it?

 

If it's one of the quests that is either daily or every 12 hours, then it could have reset.

 

The problem is you start a quest and it dissappear from quest window..Then you have to go back and restart it..
It's not only that one that do that.. It's even worse when you finnish the Q , and it goes away back to SH..that also
happens sometimes.. loool now it happened again sitting in SH.. started "Another chance" and "Common Enemy"
and they dissappeard writing this

It is a Daily Quest. But this happened at 6:05 p.m. server time!

I am so sick of all of these problems, including this event. Another example: we were told they fixed it so these npcs wouldn't be aggressive unless attacked. Yet they still are! Then I leave the Seachart to check a news article, return, and because I find I am getting pounded by npcs I *did not attack* (maybe because they are the enemy faction they attack me...okay), so I have a 120k base left and zero in on one to sink me. I came back and I am *not* sunk. The damage stopped! Things like that drive me nuts! Very inconsistent. And I usually let it go and say nothing. I know that seems hard to believe, since I post a lot, but if I reported everything I see that is wrong, then I would be on here non-stop.

Another Chance is a daily quest for a low level pirate.

Please be aware that all low level quests reset every 6 hours - and that's why it "disappeared" from your account, there is nothing wrong with it.

Thank you. I was not aware these noob quests reset every 6 hours. And thanks for pointing out the (still annoying) npc detail. The fact that they attack us when we do not engage them is illogical.

NPCs attack you as you are a part of their "enemy faction", this is normal within such event.

Since there are no further questions I will close this thread.
