    The Awakening

    Go to the coordinates listed in the Quest Ticker
    Devourer found at the location of the Coordinate

    Description:

    Much of our work doesn’t involve killing the beasts. Some of these
    creatures are so huge that to search their remains for items lodged in
    their hides, especially when they have sunk to the oceans depths, is
    impossible. The real skill is in boarding them and retrieving items of
    note. You should try it out on our pet!

    Description:

    Time to enter Sharkfang Bay itself, the very home of the Vovoi. The harsh
    rocks are tricky to navigate so now you know the way here I’ll swap your
    map for one that shows you the path through those treacherous waters.

    Welcome to Sharkfang Bay, Captain. To be allowed within these revered
    waters means you’ve proved your worth to the Vovoi and are on the path to the top. Just make sure you can still squeeze your head through the ship doors, we don’t want your ego taking control. Time to tackle some tougher beasts in the Vovoi name.

    Description:

    These great monsters are influenced by ancient magic, perhaps because of artefacts lurking in their lairs, ones they ate or by getting something
    entangled in their hides or skins. Those are the things the Vovoi are paid
    to retrieve. Discovering their lairs, boarding them to find what we’re
    after or killing them is usually the key. So time to find a lair.

    who are too weak or cowardly to tackle the monsters themselves, but will

    Description:

    Ach! I hate the smell of this stuff, still I’m not afraid to get my hands
    dirty. You’ll need to get used to that too, especially if you want to work
    for Alexandros. Saying that, as long as you listen to what he’s really
    talking about, you’ll be fine. Oh, and don’t mention his wife, not even as
    a joke. So this lure, time to use it and find you something to fight.

    Description:

    We’ve heard some Huntsmen are on the ocean, looking for some of our
    Hawkers. Fighting monsters is never a quiet time, the Huntsmen are some ofthe enemies who try to pick off our vessels after fights. So, we’d be delighted if you show them the ocean floor. We think they’ll back off again after that.

    Description:

    Fighting monsters is good but also being able to read their patterns,
    understand their special attacks and challenge them when they’re weakest issomething you’ll need to learn. Especially since the trial following this
    will be the one which decides if you are worthy to fill Norton Maxwell’s
    boots. I’ve laid on a trio of monsters to practice on!
