Support Real in-game Pirates

Part or me is sitting here now staring into the computer screen as i have been belittled and made to feel awful for even talking about sharing this information but i feel like i have a duty of care to our community to protect it where possible.

I'm going to share an experience that has happened to lots of people over the years and is still happening today.

There is a hand full of players who are offering ships for free, they get you to play them, login, help them fight farm ect for a duration of time 1 week, a month, whatever they decide and in return you get to keep ship.

Sounds almost too good to be true but their story behind it is that they need you to help them fight their war because they need more people and can't win without you. At this point you almost feel like you are doing them a good deed. You are helping them win a war you know they can't win without more people. in return they let you keep the ship. You are not allowed to leave their guild, help the enemy and at this stage you have basically became their puppet.

So here are the conditions, first they need to find you, they will use the official Discord, private message you and bring you into their private groups from then on they will begin pitching the story, show you pictures of the ship you're are being promised and begin building up hype how together they are going to create a really good alliance and everyone is going to have a good time.

All the time you are on the ship, working on it, building up battle points, farming making it better you begin to wonder in the back of your mind, something don't feel right. You feel owned, bought and at any moment the password could be changed and all that effort you have done will be wasted. You are basically a legitimate human bot, building up their ship.

After some time they will try to get you to send them money for the ships email to be transfered to you instantly so you don't have to farm the ship for 1 month or 3 months not knowing if you are a human bot or if they are genuinly helping players get a head start in the game, the price will be almost too good to turn down and because you have already invested time into the boat you will send them money instantly without any hesitation. As soon as you send them money they are gone.

You have just made their account better and more desirable.

This is by far the most advanced scam i have ever heared about and the reason for my post is to raise awareness that this still is happeneing today.

What these pirates do is they sell their ships, over and over again and the money is used to make these boats better and better all the time, real honest players are falling for it and it needs to stop.

Account selling is against the rules and by the terms and conditions setout by bigpoint you need to understand that ships are never owned by you, you are borrowing them from bigpoint and it is their property which you are allowed to use whilst you follow the rules.

I also want to add that accounts that are sold or stolen and get reported do get suspended.

@Rymar I was not sure if this post would be allowed and i didn't know where to post it but i do hope that it can be used as an awareness post.
