Reduced Drakir Hrell rewards after update

After last update (about 10 pm CEST today) rewards I get for Drakir Hrell were reduced significantly. Up until that point if I was the only person shooting Drakir Hrell and I shot last I would get ~3000 pearls in total (3x 1000). Since update I only get 2x ~1k pearls, in total 2k. Patchnote doesn't mention anything about that. What's happened? Is it a bug?

There were no changes to the Drakir Hrell NPC, the reward mentioned by you is correct.

In recent week I spent hours each day farming them hence I'm extremely sure that reward used to be - in total - 3k pearls for each one. I made at least couple million pearls in few days this way so amount of pearls per each Drakir Hrell is written very well in my memory. I just came back after years long break and I noticed that rewards mentioned on forum, both in english and my native language, are mostly or completely wrong when it comes to NPCs yielding pearls. Logbook concurs that I was indeed getting 3k pearls per each. It only changed after mentioned update - 7th June, about 10pm CEST.

Log book couple days ago for example (I received 3x 1k pearls for, I believe, each Drakir Hrell I killed on my own; out of hundreds of them killed in few days before that update I don't recall seing even one that didn't give 3x1k pearls):

Quick question. Did you level up recently?

I am level 55 and I do get only x2 rewards from Drakir Hrells for years now - hence why I know there were no changes.

The prizes should be reduced, just don't touch the money packages, because if they reduce them too.....it will be a horror of people in the game and we will jump over the seas ))

I'm level 15, I did level up couple times in recent days but that was either right before event or in it's first hours. I didn't level up at least few hours before mentioned update and since update.

What did happen for sure about that time was me getting new rank (Boatswain) and that's likely the only significant change that happened about the same time that I started getting smaller rewards.

I suppose it might have something to do with increased rewards from Drakir Hrell for newbies, wouldn't that be possible? No idea though, I had few years break from SF.

There were no changes within the loot from Drakir Hrells or any regular NPCs.

I've managed to find an old information that the rewards from some lower tier NPCs may be affected by your pirate level but that's it.

I can assure you this is not a bug.
