regnarok quest a rare find item where to find

just looking for info on how to get heidrek's SOS Message to loki i thought it drop from the ships it said to shoot 10 grap i have canceled and restarted the quest 5 times i have shot at least 75 grap boats and it doesnt seem to be droping i just want to make sure im not wasting my lava ammo on the wrong thing

 

I generally go by a rule of thumb in there. the item will drop from the npc that you've killed in the quest... ie. the graps you've been shooting.

The rule I apply is this: shoot the ships you've been shooting in the quests, if it doesn't drop after 50 kills then it's probably a daily quest and we gotta check the quest giver the following day when it resets.

I may be wrong, you can continue to shoot the graps til your hearts content, but also check for any dailies at the other quest givers, if can't see one, check again tomorrow, if you still can't see it then it's in the graps you unfortunately have to keep shooting them.

If it is in the graps, what you can do is run around the map and shoot the grap 5 times then move to another grap, shoot that 5 times, move to another and just do that as many graps as you can find then all ya gotta do is stay on for a little while, other people will kill the graps and it'll hopefully drop the item for you.

ok ty its not a daily its part of the rok leveling up quest line i believe

I can confirm that the SOS Message quest item can be looted from Grap NPCs, the drop chance may be low but it is there.

You shouldn't give up! Personally I shot about 30 of them to get my item when i was doing this quest.

ok ty im just getting well unluck them i had to have shot at least 75 now and still nothing gonna have to give up for another day because ill be out of ammo again lol
