Mr-Amber - First, my apologies for my delay in replying back. I just now had a chance to read your response. Second, I know you folks don't like the reopening of threads, but I (as the o.p.), didn't get a chance to clarify my understanding of what you said. Since I have this issue fresh in my mind, and these particular events are happening roughly 6 months apart, I want to follow up - as you said - to keep in mind for future "Rumble Maps" what the answer is.

I understand why my fellow pirate stated what he did regarding amulets, which aren't allowed in this map. I also know I was sunk and not still in the map. Are you saying that the player must have activated the "raising limits" feature (using runes) on his Voodoo Shield milliseconds before sinking me? And maybe the delay in data transmission from the server to my computer also figured into this?

You also said: "The values displayed on the other player are the ones from his 'Normal state'". Would you elaborate which state is the "normal state"? Did you mean his normal Seafight state on the regular seachart? I just want to try to understand this for the future, since this map is pretty unique.

Thank you for your time and help.

    Hello there Pirate,

As you stated, Amulets cannot be used within that particular map, But Vp can be gained by the use of the trader.
Yes your assumption is correct, I assume the player raised his Vp right at the point of you being sunk, and you then saw his 'Normal state' Vp (normal on regular seachart as his maximum (250,000), combined with current state within Rumble (440,269).

It is not something you would usually view but a combination of happenings all occurring simultaneously.

I will monitor this phenomena during the next Battle Royale out of curiosity.

Thankyou for pointing this out and for the informative screen shot.
