Where to get Ancient Emblems for groupmap?Dosent say anywhere..

The shields you need to get into groupmap. Ancient Emblems.

If you will me making up your own names for the items found within the game we will be unable to assist, so please use the proper names when asking some questions.

Ancient Emblems can be obtained from the Shield Maiden NPC (most damage - chance).

Seriously? I have yet to see even an announcement for a Shield Maiden, let alone shot one for most damage. And it's for a group map?? That makes it very unlikely that anyone is getting into that map

Yes, at this moment that's the only way to obtain Ancient Emblems.

Maybe for the 2nd phase something will change but I cannot promise that.

Yes, but there is at least one quest in this phase that requires entry into the group map at least once.

It seems to be a line of it's own. From Jack Hawk to kill 5 (?) Windwalkers. That's why all the questions earlier about where to find them.

 

In fact, it was the very first quest I tried to do. I gave up on it.

 

Needless to say, since I have yet to see a Shield Maiden, I haven't finished the quest for 20m damage on it either.

 

Here is a tip: I very recently managed to shoot on a couple (by chance) up in a high map (I think it was like 48/3 or 50/2). I guess players don't hunt them there, because we get a lot of damage from the npcs. But worth noting: Neither ship showed on the Compass Rose! I don't understand why, and I only knew one spawned on the map I was in because it was announced. This makes it even more difficult to find them.

 

Yesterday I had one spawn right next to me out of the blue in 36/2. The ship shown in the announcement as spawning it was not there and did not shoot it. I think the spawn is in a random map vs where the last Raven is sunk by the spawner. I also think the announcement might be just in the map it spawns in so the spawner may not even see the announcement.

So, I finally got that quest completed only to find that there was another quest later that also requires it (maybe it's the daily quest? I hope not!). As well you have to solo 3.5 of them to get the event completion of 500m damage.

I'm sure the players ( ) that play for hours and hours might complete this event, but unless something major changes in phase 2, it will be out of reach of most of us.

 

we need to have another way of obtaining Ancient Emblems, form shield maiden is ridiculous. I rarely see that npc and by the time I find it is almost done. How can we play group maps that way ?

Dude, every event is a bot event. lol. they had a good thing going for a while several months ago. Now they just take away their BP, ELP or EP to teach them a lesson, . A real deterrent having diminished BP or ELP or EP. Makes those bots shake with fear of ever being a real player, . And most of them just cant play after they do that. Do you want to know what they do instead? L O L, they just keep botting, .

 

I agree exactly with your analysis. I remembered after my posting that I was in Map 23/2 when another one spawned, and the guy who spawned it (I think) was in Map 19/1. You may be right on his not seeing the announcement! I tried to find the one in 23/2 - even going along the borders looking for it - but no luck. It makes it tough to find just one, much less find several of them. I hope they fix this problem.

 

By the way, I went twice to the Group Map and both times, I was quickly smoked. The second time I tried a Commonwealth Guardian, but my computer froze up (thus, 3 ancient emblems were quickly gone too)! The lesson I learned was that they hit really hard! I didn't even get one shot off on a Windwalker.
