Seafight Client​

To download the SF client, you only need to log in to your account and press the download button.

When you download it, it will open a page with all the following steps to download Seafight.

Navigate the seas in full navigation and with shorter loading times compared to the browser version! If you need help running the client, follow the installation guide below.

Recommended System Configuration

Windows 7 or higher, 4 GB RAM, 2 GB of disk space, DSL / Cable


These are the system requirements for an optimal experience. The minimum requirements to run the game are lower.

The following systems aren’t supported:
Mac OS
Windows XP


Tutorial

1. Click the "SeafightInstaller.xxx.exe" that will appear at the bottom left of the browser when the download is complete.



2. The installation will begin. Click "Next" to continue.



3. It is recommended not to change the default location; press "Next" to continue.



4. Click the "Install" button to start the installation.



5. Congratulations! The Seafight installation is now complete. Click "Finish" and then the shortcut on the Start menu or the desktop to start Seafight.

 

Error Messages.​

1) When you open a game or application on your PC, you may receive the following message: "The application could not be started successfully (0xc000007b). This message appears when there is some kind of incompatibility in the Visual Studio libraries because of a discrepancy between 32-bit and 64-bit modules:

Go to C: Windows \ System, look for the MSVCR100.dll and MSVCP100.dll files and delete them. Then, go to C: Windows \ System32, look for these files again and delete them if you find them.

Then open the folder of the game or application that gives you error, enter the folder where the DLL files are, select the files MSVCR100.dll and MSVCP100.dll and delete them. To fix the bug, download and install Microsoft Visual C ++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86), which contains the Visual Studio 2010 libraries. Restart your PC and you will be able to open the game or application without problems.



2) LoadLibrary failed with error 126: The module could not be found



Here is a possible solution:

For X64 based systems

Go to the command prompt as described above. Run it as administrator.

Type in the following command:
C:\Windows\System32\ copy atio6axx.dll .dll
Restart the PC, and check again for the issue.​

For X32 based systems

Go to the command prompt as described above. Run it as administrator.

Type in the following command:
C:\Windows\System32\ COPY atioglxx.dll .dll
Restart the PC, and check again for the issue.​

NOTE: You must have ATI installed and updated!!

3) Seafight.exe stopped working.

Possible steps to solution:

Enter the Control Panel.

System.
In the left pane, click Advanced System Settings.
go to the Settings button in the Performance section.
On the Data Execution Prevention tab, activate the Enable DEP for all programs ... box.
add in the box below the executable of the conflicting application.
apply and accept.​

IMPORTANT - If you have window 7 64 bits, this will not Work

In case this does not work you can try the following:

Navigate to the installation folder of the troubled app.

Locate the .exe file, right-click and open Properties.
Under the Compatibility tab, check the box beside ”Run this program in compatibility mode for”.​

Choose the preferred Windows version and click OK

Choose change setting to all user and make the same procedure as point 4.
Run the program as administrator - accept and apply
Restart your computer!​

4) Error api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll

​

The missing dll api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is installed with a Windows update.

To resolve this issue:

Download and install the Update for Universal C Runtime in Windows from Microsoft.

Note: To install this update, you must have the following operating system updates installed on your system.
