    Although this is not the answer you would like, unfortunately, the moderator team does not have any information as to when or if this change shall occur. When or if this does happen, it will be posted in the     Patchday Notes 2018 thread.

    Thanks Swift! It does help to know that when/if it gets fixed, that it will be in the Patchday Notes 2018. I will keep my eyes on that thread. You may close this thread. P.S. It is kind of ironic that this specific question about ship speed was answered by "Swift". :)
