Ship Upgrade Questions

Hello all, just had a few questions that I really can't find an updated answer to, would appreciate any help.

1) My Ebony deck says 17 days left, is it not tied to the amount of premium you have? If not, are they only acquirable by events, maps, and payment?
2) What's a strong PVE gem and pet set-up? I'm running cannon damage, hit prob, dodge, and dmg prevention, for my pet, I'm going with cannon dmg and dmg prev, any suggestions or something I should replace? Maybe crit damage or hp?
3) How do you acquire dragon gunpowder? Are you able to accumulate amounts where they can be used all the time and replace the normal gun powder?
4) I'm almost reaching level 30, what's a good farm for Yulong coins?
5) Same goes for pearls when there are no events, I go wih drakirs + sealurkers, is there any other faster method?
6) I see some players taking zero damage from npcs, is it because of the lvl 5 guardian? And is it only worth it when you already have high damage and you can replace your sellsword?

Let me answer your questions:

1) How did you obtain your Ebony Deck? It should last as long as your premium (if it was purchased from the payment area). You can find Ebony deck within the in-game shop (for pearls). If there's something wrong with your Ebony deck contact Support.

2) This is what I am using:

1. Ship (PvE):
   1. Moonstone Special Gem (5% NPC Damage) - Avanturine (5% Armor Plates Bonus) could be great too
   2. Damage Gem
   3. Hit Probability*
   4. Dodge Chance
   5. Damage Prevention
2. Pet (PvE):
   1. Option1:
      1. Damage Prevention
      2. Dodge Chance
   2. Option2:
      1. Hit Probability
      2. Dodge Chance

* Hit Probability could be replaced with Critical Damage - in most events Hit Probability is not required.

3) Dragon Powder can be obtained from: payment packages, Buccaneers Bounty Market, events, season and the Captain League. I do not recommend Dragon Powder for regular farming, keep it stacked for some good events (where you need to obtain most damage on an NPC) or future PvP fights.

4) Get yourself on level 31+ as soon as you can and farm your reputation up to 10 000 each (Monsoon Lords, Tempest Masters, Quake Conquerors, Inferno Overseers - reputation can be obtained from sinking NPCs). That will unlock additional loot within the Commonwealth Raid map where you'll be able to do some yulong coins. Keep an eye on events as this seems to be the quickest and easiest way to obtain them.

5) Once again Commonwealth Raid Map comes to the rescue! Also don't forget about the league of Captains - your captain can do some of your bonus maps as well. This do not cost you anything and provide a bit of pearls even if you hunt events or do your quests.

6) Do not replace your Sellsword, work on your Ribs (in future Ablative Platings) and do not mix them with anything else to keep the full damage prevention bonus. There are multiple factors included within the defence calculation however Ribs, good damage prevention on ship / pet should do the job.

Ribs can be obtained mainly from payment packages, but we had events where Ribs were offered for pearls.

You can also loot them from the Captain League if you are lucky enough.

Captain League is something that every pirate should focus on, as it is being overlooked by many, it simply provides you with action items, currency, extension items and cost you close to nothing.

2) I typically run moonstone, cannon damage, crit damage, damage prevention, and dodge on my ship (hit prob. will do more for you if yours isn't high enough, but once you have a sellsword, that mostly is a non-issue I'd say). May be worth switching the dodge for hp depending on how much dmg prevention and dodge you have. For pets, I have 2 that I mainly use. One is dmg prevention and critical hit prob., and the other is dmg prevention and dodge. I use the former for most of the time and the latter for when I want to take some less damage (like from the current event NPCs).

5) The captain league is a great source of passive income. I tend to buy the 5000 mojos at the cauldron in the SH (can certainly do less and work your way up to buying that many at a time) and I get enough from the maps to make all my pearls back plus a decent amount more. PLUS, you get a ton of goodies from the mojos and the bonus maps, including: voodoo decks, damask harps, steel harps, explosive ammo, flare ammo, lions bulwarks (a steady supply that will let you take about 1/2 damage from bigger NPCs), teleports, Colossal and cunning cannon boosts, virgo, cap, sag, and cancer hulls, queens legacy, and more.
