unfortunately you have to do 1 quest to get the ball rolling, took me a while a couple of events to go to figure this out. until you do first quest then all quest items including wrecks, crates & ships just give 1 gold

do 1 quest & it'll start to give out items Good Luck

    Ahoy DARKPREDATOR!

    Your fellow Pirate is correct.

Every event for the past year has the same mechanic (and every future event will have it included), to prevent unfair players from gaining anything at all.

In order to obtain single reward you need to do at least 1 event quest.

No event points = No rewards

Ok in other words new players with low level cannot do this quest as ships are high hp just for a money grab

Every player has had to work to build there ship up to play events.
    Do your tests/quests.

Target parts of the event you can do shipwrecks/chests.

    Ahoy DARKPREDATOR!

You can always try to "steal" NPCs from other players.

Since this query has been answered I will close this thread.
