Some Really Weird Things Happening Right Now.

Rymar: It is Saturday, July 8th at almost 8 p.m. CDT. In the last 24 hours, I have tried on two different occasions to log off and could not! It just did the timer countdown and put me right back where I was (on the water, not in Safe Haven). I had to close my browser and come back and hope I had not been sunk. I also have gone across maps without any "Click here to Change Maps" banner at the top. I just sailed into another map like there was no border! Plus the "Seachart screen suddenly auto-scrolling to the far top or side or bottom" problem is back. I did as you have recommended in the past and clicked the top/side/bottom of the screen, and sometimes I can get back to my ship and sometimes it auto-scrolls again out of control (which makes PvP quite tough)! I end up logging out and back in (and in the middle of the Seachart, you can get sunk while doing it). I have already done this twice within the last 10 minutes or less. Frustrating!

We had no further reports regarding anything like that happening, are you sure that no NPC / player shot you used an action item on you?

This is an old issue which occour when the game "think" that you are still pressing either movement keys or Enter on your keyboard.

I'm positive - no action items were used. I was not hit with an "infatuation" salvo or anything (I wasn't even PvP fighting). And the auto-scrolling continues today. But I'm just reporting it; if it is just me, I will play with it as it is, or give the game a break and not play as much. Thank you.

i dont know what,but there is some broblems background..etc,eventklock is flashing sometimes,well most of time now.When go out riftmap,can repair or nothing,have to log out.Still when opening windows in seachart,they open really slow.And of corse,seas are full bots.Do you know,are you hoping when you drive gotcha like 2 weeks usually,or month,thats is right.You have to drive that like 1/week.And take 66,6% of theyr accounts.Ty.

 

I just tried to go into Safe Haven and got "Activity Cancelled" and followed your instructions and it worked! The banner to click to enter SH popped up! Then tried to enter the Rift Map got the same problem and your solution worked again! If you don't object, let me try it against the auto-screen scroll problem when it happens to me again. Please leave this thread open, and I'll report back as soon as possible. Thanks again!

 

Update: Rymar, I tried your suggestion several times, but it does not stop the auto-screen scrolling problem. It pauses it for a moment, but then the problem continues when I try to resume sailing.

When your screen goes towards "top" press the opposite button and then the top one - that should work.

Example:

Up - W
Down S​

Your screen goes up -> W -> S -> W.​

Try that and reply to me so I can forward that the "chat trick" worked but you still have problems with auto scrolling.

Rymar: No - It does not work with the auto-scrolling of my screen. I just had it start going up uncontrollably during a PvP battle and it ruined it. I hunted the guy down after being sunk and it started again right before I reached him. I did as you said each time and it stopped it.....for a moment. But every time, when I clicked back to where I was, it resumed going upward again. Makes it unplayable.
