Souls problem

• The Gaia Defender and Ouranos Warrior NPCs will drop Souls or Gems to the player who makes the last shot as well as Gems to the players who make the most damage.

From my understanding Gaia Defender and Ouranos Warrior gives gems and souls, but i killed like 500 of them and only got gems, not even 1 soul, so can you please tell me how to get souls from them then?

I noticed this at the beginning of the 3rd phase is this really still being looked into? It really is pointless to shoot these things when ur getting level 1 2 gems which are completely worthless

 

I dare to argue with this, i shoot down over 500 npcs so it gave me alot gems, and i can upgrade them to really high level gems, it is good that we can get gems like this, but if they said they give souls, so they should give souls.

It appears to be working, I have received souls from NPCs, it is hard but it is possible. It is best to hit the bigger NPCs for souls. Does this help?

 

No this doesn't help because we know you can shoot pearl ammo at big npcs and get souls, you had higher odds getting a calypso to spawn after shooting odysseus. When a player has to shoot 500 warriors or defenders and doesn't recieve any AT ALL you could almost call that a crime . Just go to a chat like right now in real time and see how many people are gathering souls . Perhaps you could tell the higher ups to specify what are chances are in future events for obtaining souls, spawns, gems, ect.

I realize your frustration, but it does work with the warriors and defenders. The below is my logbook where I just received souls.

2014-08-23 14:53:54	You sank an NPC (system) ship and therefore have received {$EPAmount} EP.
2014-08-23 14:53:54	You received 1 x Cursed souls.
2014-08-23 14:53:54	You received 1 x Plato's coin.
2014-08-23 14:53:54	You received 10430 EP (experience points).

 

So You want to say that I am ultra unlucky person who only get souls sometimes from warriors, but never got any soul from defender when i shot down over 500 ships, this is non sense...

 

u will only get souls from them if u have done more than 5% damage , get the last shot and less than 100-150k hp... if u do more no souls

 

I shoot all npcs alone, so i shot down all my npcs with full hp took the most damage and the last hit, I always shoot alone, but i only get radiants from warriors but no cursed souls from defenders.

 

As this is working as designed and has been fully answered.
