    can someone please tell me what speed points r for i get alot of them and havent found a use for them?

    Speed points help you carry more ammunition while maintaining your top speed and maintain your speed with lower hit-points.

    So here's a question - do they accumulate and run out over time or is there a cap?
    For instance, I must have picked up a million speed points in the last week - where do I see my total.

    Ahoy mate,
    Derpy is indeed correct, and speed points do not run out ever. There is no official total for where you can see your speed. You can only know by how fast you go when your ship has lots of ammo and/or low HP. Does this help?
