    Sun Pirates
The Pirate King Amaterasu and his Sunburst minions, known for flying their sun-emblazoned banners, are melting a path through an undiscovered ice region into our realm!

This battle will set the apart the mice from the seamen. To reach Amaterasu himself, you must meet the following criteria:
    • Must be lower than Level 16 and
    • have one Medallion of Light.
You will then be teleported to a separate map to decimate the Sunburst fleet until Amaterasu appears. Should you succeed in destroying him you‘ll receive his design, which will be improved with each further victory against him. Weight Anchor and extinguish the Sun Pirates!
What are the requirements for entering Amaterasu’s map?

You must have a level lower than 16 and must have at least one Medallion of Light.

How exactly do I enter Amaterasu’s map?
You must first have a Medallion of Light, which you then can click on in the quick bar on the sea chart. A 15 second countdown will begin and at the end you will be automatically taken to a predetermined destination on Amaterasu’s map. You cannot enter Amaterasu’s map from a bonus map.
How do I get a Medallion of Light?

You can get them in the Market Cove as long as you haven’t yet reached level 16.
How often can I use a Medallion of Light?

You only need one medallion per trip.

I made it to Amaterasu’s map, but how do I make him appear?

Now you and the other players must fight against a fleet of Sunburst pirates. A counter will indicate how many Sunburst pirates must still be defeated before Amaterasu appears.

I made it to Amaterasu’s map, but how do I leave it again?

Click on the Medallion of Light and a 15 second countdown will begin. Once it’s over, you will be taken back to the normal sea chart. If you log out or get sunk while you’re on Amaterasu’s map, you’ll be automatically removed from the map.
Where will I teleport when I leave Amaterasu’s map?

You’ll return to the sea chart on which you were before you entered Amaterasu’s map.

How many players can join the fight against Amaterasu?

There is no limit to the number of players who can be on the map at the same time.
How do I fight against the Sunburst pirates or Amaterasu?

The Sunbursts can be destroyed with any ammo, but to damage Amaterasu you’ll need to use Elite ammo.

How many times can I fight against Amaterasu?

As many times as you want. As soon as someone has defeated Amaterasu, the event will start over. Those players on Amaterasu’s map will remain there and fight against the Sunbursts again. A counter will indicate how many Sunburst pirates must still be defeated before Amaterasu appears again.
What rewards will I receive from the Sunburst pirates and Amaterasu?

You’ll receive Pearls and experience points from both opponents proportionately. From Amaterasu you can also receive his design. How to do so is answered in the next question.
How do I get the Amaterasu design?

By taking part in destroying Amaterasu and either delivering the final blow or by doing the most damage to him, you’ll receive the design.

How do I receive appearance upgrades for the Amaterasu design?

You must already own the Amaterasu design, join the fight against him once more and then either deliver the final blow or by do the most damage to him to receive the upgrades. The more you do it, the better your upgrades will be.

Sink Amaterasu once and you’ll receive the basic ship design

Sink Amaterasu 10 times and you’ll receive the basic ship design + 1 additional forecastle mast

Sink Amaterasu 25 times and you’ll receive the basic ship design + 1 forecastle mast + 1 aft mast + 1 shield for the sail

    Ahoy mates,

Thank you for your patience while we look into this.

    *Update.

There had been a game bug which meant if players did most damage or last hit on the big ships in the raid map players did not get the skin... it's been resolved and the skins added retrospectively.

I hope this now answers your question.
