Out of morbid curiosity, what is the cut-off time for placing bids in the auction? for the past 3 hours I placed top bids on several items, ranging from crystals to cannon, all within minutes of closing of the auction, once within seconds . . yet each time my gold was taken, but no gains from the auction . . if there's a certain time to place bids, please make it known for last call on bids, kinda aggravating to see my name appearing as a winner, only to find someone else gains the prize and I'm left as first bidder on another auction round with nothing to show for it other than a loss of my gold.

    Apologies for ranting, kinda miffed

Technically there should not be, however it is recommended to bid a couple of minutes before hand.

I agree with you I've seen it happen so many times where I am the highest bidder on items and the clock has run all the way down aand .... nothing. Someone else got the items and I lost the gold. I believe there is a bug or an exploit or something that some people use to cheat on the black market, but hey, I'm a confirmed conspiracy theorist.

There's an easy way to make it so that doesn't happen (or detect if it is happening) which I would recommend. Make it like a real auction. If you don't get the goods, you don't lose the money. AND you can see what the current highest bid is.

I've wasted millions on the auctions and I agree, it really miffs.

    Ahoy,

While waiting to the last second to bid is a highly used method to surprise a bidder at the last second that they can't react and you win the bid. It also carries its risk, your internet connection and computer speeds all play a role in making sure that the bid goes through intime before the next bid. We would recommend bidding 2-3 minutes prior or 30 secounds as this gives time for the request to go through.

If you suspect that there is foul play and that players are winning their bids through illigal means, please report them to the Customer Care Team where a full investigation will be conducted.

Please note the results of such investigations will not be revealed due to legal reasons.

Is there anything else we can help with?
