    The Cabin Boys​

    Ahoy Pirates,

    After the sync today a new crew member will be spotted in Seafight – the Cabin Boys! Cabin Boys will replace Seafight’s best Powder Monkeys and increase your reload time by 40%.

    Not only can the Cabin Boys be bought in the Tavern, but you also have the chance of finding from the Manamusa NPC. Each time you find a Cabin Boy he will remain on your ship for an additional day (24 hour period), up to a maximum of 30 days. Once you reach 30 days, each additional Cabin Boy you find will simply fill up the duration you have them to 30 days again.

    What’s the reason for this change? Well, the old Powder Monkeys were notoriously buggy and the reload mechanic was complicated and outdated. With this new system, we have ironed out the bugs and introduced a simplified and more logical reload mechanic to Seafight.

    As all current Powder Monkeys will be removed, we will book ALL of you 14 days of the new Cabin Boys for FREE!

    New Gold Powder Monkeys, which work in the same way as the Cabin Boys, will also be introduced and will increase your reload time by 20%. However please be advised that if you have both, ie the powder monkeys and the cabin boys, Only the Cabin Boys will work. You can not have more than 40% reload time.
